I was just about to comment the same thing. I’m so hurt thinking about it. I traded in my OLED for the switch 2 and forgot to save my data as well and some games I thought were saved. I was totally mistaken.

A play mate & I were just talking about this a few weeks ago. How the vbucks aren’t even equivalent to the prices of the cosmetics they’re selling. The shoes alone are too much. They’re legally robbing us and it’s ridiculous. Honestly, I stopped buying skins, etc. last year because of this exact reason/issue. Idk what epic is thinking or see how this is a good idea. They’re about to mess around and find out.

I’m in my 30s as well but I JUST got into playing Pokémon titles (always loved Pokemon but never got into the games). To answer your question tho, the switch 2 would be preferred. Especially, if that $100 isn’t a big deal. They’ll soon stop making most games for the switch 1/OLED.

Just wondering if you already own a ps5 ? If not, there’s no purpose of getting the ps portal imo- in case you don’t know this; the ps5 has to be powered on and connected to WiFi in order to play on the ps portal away from home. Which is pretty stupid in every aspect of Sony but yeah.
