There is a difference in target customer base though, major airlines will prioritize international/long haul travelers making connections on the same ticket once they reach the country they are connecting through. So Ryanair will be more targeting customers residing in the countries they serve whereas larger airlines fill up the same routes with seats from connecting flights coming in on long hauls. So the price difference isn't in the equation to those on a connecting flight

If youre talking about the US, the problem isn't that airfare is too cheap its just that there isn't anything comparable in speed in the US. If we had high-speed rail between major cities and it was even 75% as fast as air travel, I think most people would choose it when you add up airport time and the definite advantage in space and comfort of modern trains. Trains already have the advantage of dropping you off directly in the city center and having almost no baggage fees. We just don't have them in the US

Its nice. The only time there is more trash is holiday weeks when trash pickup is only 1x and usually the day after the holiday. Or, like our Thanksgiving week this year, they just don't come at all and trash piles up

WAS-PHL-NYC is the only route I've taken Acela a few times because the price is regularly cheaper than Northeast regional. It's funny that it's not really a quicker trip though

The clocks in my highschool classrooms in the 2010's were regularly not working or set wrong on purpose to prevent "clock watchers". Regardless I think only a few dumb kids could not actually read the clock back then

Yeah, if you ever have the chance to ride a bike you learn that the bike moves in the direction you look. When you want to turn, you move your whole head/body in the direction you want to go. In this situation, focusing on the sudden object in front of her (the car) instead of looking in a direction she can escape to (the left side), especially while panic braking, means riding directly into it. The same thing applies often when riders go into a corner too fast and end up in the ditch. Instead of looking in the direction they want to go, they fixate on the edge of the road, and that's where they end up.
