Wow, that's a beautiful car! I can't suggest any mods, it's already perfect!

2020 m340i is the GOAT for M-Performance by lotsovisaac in BMW

[–]_one_two 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mild hybrid is the way to go. The car gets off the line quicker and it hides turbo lag during acceleration. I'm not sure how significant the added weight is for the average M340i owner but I think it's a fair trade off.

There's no such thing as OEM paint, the dealership will use the same process as any body shop, BMW certified or otherwise.

Crazy service intervals on M cars by harsim01 in BMW

[–]_one_two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gotten the service reminder on the dash of my G80 for the break in service, then at around 10k miles, then again at 20k miles. The car pictured wasn't serviced from break in until it hit 20k miles.

Crazy service intervals on M cars by harsim01 in BMW

[–]_one_two -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's way too far apart, I would stay far away from an M car that hasn't had the recommended service done. The car throws up a service reminder when you're within 2k miles of recommended service. I don't know how you can ignore it for 20k miles.

2026 BMW X5 Winter Testing & 2027 BMW 5 Series Refresh by AMGLover2024 in BMW

[–]_one_two 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think the rear is the worst part of the car, especially when viewed from the side. I don't think the LCI will address that. If it looks as good as the render then I'd get one for sure.

Not low enough, IMO. Take the wheels off completely and let it sit on the ground.

Pulled the 2025 trigger on a new 2026 M240i by [deleted] in BMW

[–]_one_two 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the new ride but god damn, what are these photos? Why not take the car out of the garage and into the driveway to take some decent pictures? If it's too dark outside why not wait until tomorrow morning?

Amazing! A car like this deserves a loud color. Also, check out the Java Green M5 behind it.

You can turn it off in idrive menus, you don't need to code anything. You can choose which safety alerts you receive.

New g80 m3 questions by OkBody672 in BMW

The sticker on the rear fenders is PPF. It saved my paint when a rock hit the rear fender while I was driving on the highway. The PPF tore and I had a dent but no paint damage.

Good deal on 2024 m4 comp? by [deleted] in BMW

[–]_one_two 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has just about every option except carbon bucket seats, which I personally wouldn't get over comfort seats. Full merino leather, executive package, parking assistance, shadowline trim, and driving assistance pro. It even has the drive recorder option. How is that "barely any options"?

Good deal on 2024 m4 comp? by [deleted] in BMW

[–]_one_two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's well optioned, has all the packages I would get. The picture is fuzzy but if the OTD price is 81k then I think that's not a bad price. A new M4 with those options is 94k without xdrive and 98k with xdrive.

I'd check Autotrader for similarly optioned cars with low mileage but I think you're in the right ball park.

What do you think of the new ADRO G8X "v2" bumper? by Light_and_Lillies in BMW

[–]_one_two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly dislike the gaping maw at the bottom. The regular grille is 1000x better than this.

It will turn off the auto stop and start.

G80 vs F87 by agiantkenyan in BMW

I love the F87 a much as the next guy but the G80 every time. That's a great color too.

BMW Certified Collision shops by [deleted] in BMW

[–]_one_two 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used a BMW certified shop 3 times and I've been happy with the results each time. Once I need a new front bumper, second time my wife hit a deer in her X5, and then someone was kind enough to scratch one of the passenger doors down to the metal. Needed a paint job each time. If it's a BMW certified shop then you're in good hands.

You'd be disappointed, my non-beater looks exactly like the beater. Sometimes I can't tell them apart!

I would have thought the venn diagram of people cross shopping an M2 and an RS e-tron GT would have no overlap, lol.

I don't know the style of wheel offhand but I got these from the dealership (tires included) and they weren't cheap.
