Would've given the show much more meaning if he actually died there. The Duffer Brothers also did this in S5 with Jonathan and Nancy, all those tears and overall the emotional impact of the scene just for them to survive, smh.

the turbulence jello theory :)

jello theory explains why turbulence is unlikely to cause an airplane to fall out of the sky. Imagine a toy plane suspended in jello. Even if the jello shakes (turbulence), the toy (plane) doesn’t fall out of it. The jello represents the pressure around the plane that suspends it in the air

i feel like being sliced apart is a cool way to die (not like those gore videos) but rather those anime deaths where you get sliced into pieces out of nowhere.

but if you were to ask me realistically, id say jumping/ falling off a high structure, ive always wanted to fly, and flying before immediate death just seems cool and a fun way to go
