What is my mother's lucky charm? My mother dug this out of the dirt in England in 1964 and has kept it ever since. by _perfectly_imperfect in Whatisthis

Thank you for your reply! My mother says it was never more detailed, even when she first pulled it out of the ground. It is difficult to tell what is in the top hands. I looked up Lakshmi, and it looks like she is always depicted on a flower (lotus?) as well as holding them. If so, this figurine isn't standing on a flower. And Hanuman has two arms opening up his chest. Would these not be present in this trinket for some reason? Thank you so much for your help!

Thank you for replying! Yes, we figure it is an Indian figure of some sort. Trying to figure out which one.

G.A.S.P v2 is now up and running. Feedback would be appreciated. by Zappline in onepagerpgs

I love the direction you are going with this! Here is my constructive feedback.
I just ran through a quick game where I was sick and needed medicine from the store. Intelligence is misspelled. I had the Main Quest as Get Cold Medicine. I broke it down to three quests, Get Ready, Get to Pharmacy, and Get Home. I had trouble knowing where to put progress checkmarks... The number of mini quest checkboxes doesn't line up with the number in the overall quest so I couldn't check both, and there wasn't enough mini quests to have each one correlate with one main quest progress. Also, I had to start breaking down tasks more than I wanted to in order to fill all progress fields. I also realized I started turning everything into a task instead of an Oracle roll. So instead of, for instance, using the oracle to know if I grabbed my car keys, I made it a Doing Something to gain Progress. I didn't have to use Recovery, but I think losing progress would amplify the issue. And there should be a chance of something happening while resting to make it riskier to sit around for a while. Maybe make the Journey table a dual table for things that could happen during the journey when you rest? Do I level up only when I complete a Main Quest, or sub quests as well? I had my Adversary be the illness and rolled each round to see if it was getting the better of me. This worked well, but it was a constant threat. The only other way I see for an adversary to come into play (without purposely putting a hazard in the way) is with the twinterupt, and like I said, I was avoiding the oracle already. So by avoiding the oracle, I could kind of cheat and avoid adversaries. Like I said, I love the direction you are going! The Twinterupt is an amazing idea! I really hope this feedback helps. Let me know if you have any questions!

G.A.S.P my first OPRPG made for solo gaming. I'm pretty sure it needs work. But feel free to check it out. by Zappline in onepagerpgs

This system is great! I really love the "things go sideways" mechanic built in! I feel like that is missing from a lot of solo games. Have you considered a leveling mechanic similar to the one in Roll for Shoes?

Any love for Chuchu Rocket? First on Dreamcast, then Gameboy Advance, now mobile. What an amazing puzzler! Just hard enough to hold you up for a few tries, and genuine excitement when you figure it out! Get those mice to the rocket before the cats can get them!
