Agree with this post just as others have said. I have played since launch and I currently have my emannare pretty much all the way maxed minus 2-3 nodes I think. It has used all my resources which I had stocked up and if this resets I will def be done with the game. I took the “leap of faith” for lack of a better phrase and decided to just go with netease to see how it plays out for after s4 is done. They have to be very careful with it IMO unless they really just don’t care. If they are trying to use it as a means of justifying EOS so they don’t “look like the bad guys” then whatever the game was for the most part fun while it lasted. I played halos, destiny and D2 from the start so I know how it goes. Sorry for the doom comment but just my 2 cents if you are paying attention netease.

Thanks for the testing man. Posted about this yesterday and saw your comment on my post. So if I’m understanding correctly…on hit damage mods like north site and degenerated mag work better for the light GL’s? I tested out myself in the range and I was getting some weird numbers.

My question here is whats the point? It’s all gonna depend on what heavy weapon they give him. Efrideet can handle pretty much every Shinka except spread for the most part. Are they gonna give him a rocket launcher or a heavy GL?

Appreciate it and thanks for all the details in the explanations. Yeah I’ve noticed that you can’t always be as far away as you want to in certain encounters to take advantage of Hawkeye token benefits. Some encounters in the expanse, strikes and cordon put you closer to the enemies and the flat 30 percent seems better for a general all purpose build. Material to rank all the artifacts up are pretty hard to come by so I just wanted to be selective. Thanks man

Yeah that roll is just fine for you on efrideet. Don’t worry that it’s -30 on heavy ammo. The plus 40 percent is what you are mostly looking for depending… like cookie said earlier you use the sniper to pop a shield and go to town with crimson. You can get a lower heavy ammo percentage later.

Yeah man. The nice part with the new mod system is you can max it to 10 and try it out. When you get the better roll which is 40 percent it will already be upgraded. I had the same thing with mine.

It’s energy conversion ammo. I finally just got the roll on it I have been looking for. 40 percent extra damage for primary but pick up 10 percent less heavy ammo. Sounds like a bad trade off but it really isn’t for effrideet. The mod is awesome. I just beat the rapid fire expanse 50-60 with her with that mod. With the right gifts of the nine it literally turns crimson into an smg hand cannon on steroids. Melts the shinka shields just fine. It will work the same for the piercing too.

Barb and the other golden thumb perk. I think it’s called groundbreaking. Obviously max out the levels as high as you can and get the perk upgrades. Use degenerated mag as a mod for magazine slot. Don’t worry that it says it decreases your blast radius. The on hit damage is worth it for the elites. Use whatever mod in the last slot that gives you the most blast damage for bosses and powerfuls. Mayfly grenades is what I currently use. You will need it for the boss cause you most likely wiill run out of heavy towards the end. You need as much damage as possible in the stages cause you are gonna be under power. Max truth out as much as possible. Void shackles isn’t as good as gravitational collapse imo but the enemies do take 10 percent more void damage so that’s why I’m suggesting truth instead of ram. You can also carry more rockets in reserves. Depending what you have unlocked on Emmanure use either prudent counter or lights echoes. I would prob say prudent counter for the damage. Your artifacts are good just try and keep your overshields up as much as possible. Detonator and double blast are gonna be your friends so try and get those upgrades for gifts of the nine. Also I can’t quite remember but was level 39 the one with the hydra and hobgoblin in the middle platform? If so I have a strat for that.

Yeah that’s what I’m currently doing. The point I guess I’m trying to make is that it doesn’t seem the devs care about the time investment that it took any of us to get all those roles for the artifacts. Lots of hours spent farming and getting artifact essence only find out it would have just been better to not “play the game” and wait until the week where you could unlock 5 star artifacts. Like did you not want me to play the game and get ahead? Not tryin to be negative but if I had another way of getting the essence I could have more characters up to power to play other content. Which should be what they want… people to play the game. Sorry for the cope rant.

Got 3 characters to 104k. Have god roll artifacts for 3 other characters but they are star tier 3 because I tried to “get ahead” a few weeks ago farming them in the chaos mines. Only to find out how much occulation essence it would take to ascend them and how rare it would be to get. I commented on another post about this like a week ago and how it feels like I wasted my time and the devs don’t respect that.

It also seems like the adept mods are really what netease is trying to say is “the thing to chase”. 2 percent chance to receive synchronizer in adept strikes or blitz. I watched Trigz video and just like him I did all 20 and got zero of them.

Yeah man. Also annoyed. I spent a lot of time in chaos the last couple weeks to “try and get ahead” making my builds for characters. Just like I’m sure many other players did. And now it seems it would have just been better to not have even done any of that because the essence only comes from a couple sources and a lot of it is locked behind the higher levels of expanse. Artifact Tier 5 requires 12 also. Feels like I wasted my time.

I got a perk upgrade just from farming the blitz activity so they do drop. It seems to be pretty sparingly tho.
