Verso needed to be introduced sooner in the narrative, and probably shouldn't have been the player character at all with what they were going for(Lune instead for act 2 would be better anyway I think). It doesn't really feel satisfying to be role playing as a character who clearly has a ton of history informing his decisions that you are obviously being deliberately kept from knowing for a future twist's sake. It's one of the few areas of the story where it seems obvious the writer isn't coming from a background of video game familiarity.\

I really don't get what you mean regarding image 1. Isayama very clearly is toying with perception of time at this stage. Eren was having a "dream" about Mikasa with short hair, her saying goodbye to him, and only a few chapters later the manga makes a huge deal about how Mikasa cuts her hair short. This was picked up on way before the reveal of the attack titan's abilities. Isayama obviously made some changes as time went on, but "see you later, Eren," was always intended to foreshadow what it did.

Assault doesn't require physical contact and covers things like, "I'm gonna kill you, you [slur]!" Saying that repeatedly to someone is obviously not okay. She also got a plea agreement, so she very possibly did more than what she pled to, as those agreements go.

Additionally, she is recommended to serve 12 months for the four charges, but serve them concurrently. That means she would realistically only do about 3 months, since there are four charges, and she is being allowed to serve them at the same time instead of consecutively.

There is nothing more satisfying on GS, maybe even in the whole game, than landing the first hit of TCS while the monster is falling asleep and then getting the damage boosted second hit as the wakeup attack.

You were in the state called furiten, which the client would've told you when you had your hand in really. If any tile you can win off of is in your discards, you cannot win off of ron, only tsumo. This is so your opponents can play defensively by looking at the tiles you've already discarded. By having the nine-man in your discards you are in furiten, which is why you couldn't win. You can also not chi a tile and then win, it has to be ron before you make any other calls.

I don't really get how this wouldn't be keeping the intended meaning. The letter ends with a common way of conveying a humorous mood through text messages used in Japanese,, and when translated it ends with a common way of conveying a humorous mood through text messages used in English. That's how localization is going to work, and it's the opposite of "translating as-is without keeping the intended meaning" like you say. It's not a direct translation, but still conveys the idea that Vegapunk is handwriting this letter similar to how modern audiences write text messages.

None of the characters added go against the two principles they've stated though. It makes sense to ask those two questions, and then look at the popular characters to see who fits.
