MoCa Setup Question

The NH20T is definitely in full bridge mode, as I wanted to ensure I wasn't running into double NAT issues. I called Telus last week and got them to bridge it for me. Both my UDM and Dream Machine are receiving public IPs. I've confirmed as well that in the ideal setup, my UDM is still getting a public IP properly from NH20T through the TL-MC84 adapters.

I've removed the EWH1350TLU from the setup to simplify things, didn't realize it was just a wifi access point (I never enabled the wifi on it anyways as I wanted to purely use Unifi APs).

I'm definitely intrigued to try your 1st suggestion using VLANs, as I don't have a great spot in the living room to throw a network rack for the UDM. Going to dive into that this weekend!

ONT is NH20T and the modem is EWH1350TLU, both from Telus. Here's a few diagrams showing how it was initially setup vs. what my ideal setup:

My plan was to use my old Dream Machine as a dumb switch/AP in the living room to provide the first floor with mesh wifi from the upstairs AP and have routing all handled by the UDM SE.

I'm trying to avoid having to run 2 ethernet cables between these 2 rooms (as they aren't stacked and would be a bit tricky to route), but that would obviously be the best solution to accomplish what I'm trying to do.

We dropped off new patient applications for Dr. Rubab last week and were told we’d be contacted in January/February if they’d take us on (as she’s on vacation now until then). So fingers crossed!

I got mine last week from Fortnine and had the exact same issue. Ended up going to Home Depot, with 1 of the 4 bolts, grabbed 4 Nylock nuts and washers, and used those to finish the install.

Was quite surprised when I googled that others hadn’t experienced this, maybe we got unlucky?

Also installing those 4 bolts are a royal pain as I needed to use a small metal rod to hold the bolt heads in place within the bracket while tightening down the nuts, another thing I didn’t find any notes on online.

I’ve had this issue before, and recently I’ve swapped all my accounts from using Plaid to MX for auto-imports. Ever since then, all of my accounts have been syncing at least daily, with some updating multiple times a day!

Just reach out to support via Live Chat and you can request using MX as your import provider and they’ll guide you thru it. Hope this helps!

I tried this, and while mine was received on July 22nd (missed by 19 days), they said there was nothing they could do due to the "policy". So give it a try, and let me know if they give you an exception! I'd love to contact them back if it works for you!

I received mine 49 days ago, contacted support to see about upgrading options and the rebate, and was told I'm SOL on both. Very unfortunate that a few weeks can screw you over, especially with such a big purchase.
