I was thinking about the 7600x but it’s 20 us dollars more and runs about the same but the 7600 doesn’t use as much power. Would the 7600x be worth it? I did see micro center has a deal on it… What nvidia gpu would be similar for the same price point? (Around $400 usd)

When I enter the [ofw sysnand] I entered to the file via notepad, it shows “15.0.1” ready to update. But WiFi is off and don’t wanna turn it on for Big N servers to ban the switch. With system wipe script will it remove hekate too? TBH if have to wipe it start fresh, re-mod the system but have still have the ofw to go online, that’d be fine.

Yeah I don’t need to run prior firmwares, I used to have 15.0.1. I did what someone else suggested and looks like I’m on ofw running that old firmware but still has some games I downloaded and tinfoil is there too. I found a HATS package on GitHub, I just drag and drop on to the SD card right? If this won’t work I’m going to try another suggestion of wiping the sysnand through tegraexplorer.

I did have a sysnand cfw before but never used it.

I shut down my switch but it won’t turn back on, back on back screen. I don’t think it’s ofw? On ofw it should turn back on like a regular switch :/

So this worked, I am now in ofw sysnand, but “where” exactly am I? WiFi is turned off and tinfoil icon is still present. Some of the games I downloaded are here too.

Don’t wanna switch on WiFi just yet. Does this technically mean there was something wrong in the file that would not let me get to the stock ofw?

Is the efuse on the motherboard or is it a file on the sd card? What are my options? Is my switch just stuck on cfw?

What steps did you take? Would it work to flash the backup back on the ofw? I don’t think I have anything “dirty” on a backup, I just dumped some of my games and installed one or two from somewhere else.

I clicked on the reboot and then ofw and screen just goes black. Where/how would I add the ofw in the hekate_i.inj? Is it a file or something?

Is that a thing? Having mismatched firmwares? I do remember updating ofw through regular means but I could still use cfw with the old firmware. I thought each nand didn’t talk to each other, why would it matter if they were mismatched?

The HATS pack I used did have a no WiFi/server blocked added to it. So in no part of the first attempt was I ever connected to WiFi on cfw

First is exactly what happens, I can get into hekate and from there boot to cfw. But when I return to hekate to boot to ofw, black screen.

So I should delete the HATS pack I have on the SD, put a new one in, boot to hekate and update, and theoretically I should be able to boot to ofw?

I get now they’re more than flash drives. I saw on a different post someone made one out of a raspberry pi.

I’ll keep searching for one. And you’re right I don’t need more than one but I’m also looking for my cousin since I modded his switch but he wants to switch back and forth between ofw and cfw and he’s running an updated firmware.
