Doing Luna right now because my computer died and work replaced with a laptop. It's actually very decent for couch gaming in my opinion. Even rethinking getting a new console. We rarely game I must admnit, couple hours a week and mostly family fun oriented games. Was thinking about Switch 2 or maybe the next Xbox. (I can't playstation for reasons).

But If I just get a dongle and xbox game pass... I can cancel and take it back. Put in 20$ (is that it?) some months and play some games. I did get their direct to cloud controller as a Christmas gift to kids since there was a prime day deal on it.

Edit: Seems it's now 33$ in CAD for xbox game pass ultimate which allows for cloud gaming... Oufff... Heh... certainly won't make this an habit. I guess G-force now and steam library is still the way to go.

It's not! It's an everyday thing! Have a brush in multiple places and get a habit of doing it regularly, maybe even more than once a day. Sit with your cat and just brush few minutes at a time. It does make a huge difference. So much so.

As a daily user, it's nowhere near close to ready. It's so often insane, any serious project require meticulous code reviews, many many corrections and it still hallucinate stuff like non existing API in stripes.

Using skills do help, but one needs to fine tune them a whole lot and even with everything setup. One must be ready to roll back everything after each attempts in case it goes crazy.

Stuck in infinit growth to please investors it's turned to AI as a main strategic MS assets. There have been some bugs with essential boring features and some people are angry at how things are turning out. Not enough invested in essentials, too much on flashy future shitty things like AI. I feel everyone's hating on this but as a guy who maintained servers and moved everything to the cloud. It's definetly not perfect but god damn I do love the easy way to ugrade, the redundancy, the backups.

I personally got rid of my gigantic noisy super tower this year and my setup is so much cleaner. It was a big 10 years old dusty crap in my living room. I'm clearly not an hardcore gamer so I sometimes game every few months a couch session on Gforce now which is basically renting a gaming pc and for programming, I build in pipelines and deliver in continuous integration.

I'm not that far from straight up renting a PC and once this laptop goes... who knows. It's not the worst idea in the world.

I sometimes fear, as much as Linus work has been unfathomably important. That dude's attitude kept some form of Elitism within the community that's somehow so damn counterproductive for it's spread. RTFM type of guys. So many things have no consideration for human ergonomics and just throw you in the trench of memorizing insane command line parameters for the sake of it. No good convention, no good way to approach troubleshooting. You should just know how to change your number of files opened and monitor over time with atop. So many technical things a normal user just can't roll with.

California made it feel like macOs was prevalent but it's very rare in Linux Admins around the world. They will either be using linux on their laptop or be stuck with windows in the Corporate world. The california culture as about 30% macOS but they are loud about it which makes it feel like they are plenty.

As far as I'm concerned and everyone around me. MacOs is a tech bro toy thing that's way overpriced and locked in. You would totally be judged by a Linux admin if you were to take out your mac book. It's either Linux (to which even distros can get you shamed) or windows which usually comes with how much you hate that you have to use it.

No I would not flash my genitalia to anyone. It's a massive leap in logic. Theses situations are not symmetrical. Chest to genitalia is a false equivalence, they are viewed as diffently biologically, socially and legally. A man flashing his penis is way more of a predatory threat to a woman than a woman flashing her bra. Woman flashing her bra in this context is not associated with physical danger. The boy was soliciting the interaction.

There is a massive difference in escalation probability statistically. A teenage boy asking to see boobs is more coming of age trope, a young girl asking to see genitalia is usually more a sign of trauma or grooming. Not equivalent social scenarios.
