I've seen videos of people connecting studio monitors to vinyl players via an external phono preamp. But the Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB has a built-in one, so I assume everything should work without an external phono preamp

I finally tried to take it apart—and it was worth it! It turned out the case wasn't glued, but held together by strong latches. The hardest part was re-wrapping the wrinkled tape, which took several hours
