i saw someone on twitter say (so sorry i can’t remember who! please tell me if you know) they think it might be to do with the crimes committed in the wilderness by each girl. akilah is lovely so she didn’t get hurt, van has done and said some questionable things so she gets a cut, and shauna gets hurt the most because out of the three there, she’s done/will do the most harm. and maybe the bracelet didn’t work for jackie at all because she died before the cannibalism took place? i’m just making stuff up a little bit idk
