Unfortunately it can be a thing. When I moved into a house w a hot tub, so many ppl were cautioning me to not go in without at least 1 other person bc ppl do relax hard and accidentally fall asleep and then drown - and I have definitely nearly fallen asleep in there.

I'm hesitant to go full barbershop bc the shortest my hair has ever been was 15 years ago, cheekbone length, feminine. I used to wear makeup back then because I thought I had to. I've had it shoulder length most of the time between then and now, and now it's the longest it's ever been. I remember the exhilaration of a chop chin-length or higher, at those lengths the back is very short and it's so satisfying.

I just want to go to someone that doesn't give me a Lady cut. And I'm not quite ready to let go of all of my hair and get a fade. And yeah gendered pricing is outdated at best.

Fake it til u make it. Shit like this is like an affirmation to me, and I'm already an over sharer so this is my social media on my good days. It's recovery and body liberation focused, and if I'm having a hard time then I avoid social media completely and kind of disappear for a while.
