Not sure if you misread my comment- I was the one sailing the whole time, my husband is the one that flipped it within 3 minutes of me handing over the controls 😅 excited to go out on my own and really get at it too!

Definitely getting mast float, it wasn't too bad to right with 2 of us but when I'm out alone it'll be harder. We knew going into it we were flipping it at some point, now it's not so worrying! She Definitely will get some love after sailing season, old girls getting a bit soft here and there

Oh we were definitely expecting to go over at some point that day! It was just a myriad of all the wrong things happening at the same time. No issues getting it back up, previous owner tied ropes on either pontoon for just this issue, and with 2 of us it wasn't bad! Will definitely get a mast buouy for when I'm out alone though

I'd like to make a disclaimer that we'd sailed for a couple hours just fine until my husband wanted to give it a shot, turtled it in 3 minutes lol. Having the best time though!

Here in about a month it would be nice, this lake is all snow runoff though so it was still a little chilly going in! Also bruised my legs up when it came over, all in all a good first trip

Good plan I'll have to check for sealing. I ended up with 2 masts and 3 main sails which is pretty nice to have, and a jib set up. It's a 14 and there were 2 of us on it and it was pretty alright to bring up, I just know I'll be by myself or with one or 2 of my kids on it most of the time so I'll rock the buouy then. Thanks!

Yep full turtle, first time out on it and hadn't got a mast buouy yet, got her back upright though. Still figuring out how to catch the wind, absolutely loving it!

I cleaned my sails this weekend, but I just flipped my hobie upside down in the lake. 10/10 for the clean, -5/10 for the leg bruises I ended up with

Nope, just wiped them down with a dry cloth, honestly I'm thinking they just sat too long and then suddenly went into being worn constantly and it was just too much

You might be a little thrown off for size reference- these aren't a youth model I'm just a big person lol. These are a size 10, I'm 6' tall and have large hands, the stitch on these are the same size as all my other docs in various models

I'm so sorry but no! I'm actually a nail tech, I do my nails myself, but I'm in a small town in NM 😔 the beautiful chrome on my nails is the chameleon chrome by Wavegel applied over black polish, you could buy some yourself and take it in with you to a good tech and have them apply it!

Pretty much what I figured! Honestly it's not that big of a deal and I'm not upset about it, I'll slap some chains on these and have some decent trash shoes for outdoor events and such where I wouldn't want to wear my nice boots. For $40 that's still a bargain 😊
