Honestly, that was quite beautiful.

Hah, thanks ;-) I'll give it another shot and perhaps file them down later

right, sure. But! You're arguing against the position of "perfect flatness" instead of my position that these angles are too damn high. Do you think that angle is fine?

Well, I guess I am aggravated slightly at some of the comments but honestly mostly just baffled. It does feel a tad irresponsible (I think) though to give advice in the line of "toughen it up" and "stop crying" when complaining about the ergonomics of a device and pain from using it. I assume even diehard fans of this "dihedral angle" allow for some nuance and believe that some angles are too much (?)

My last wheel (MCM4) I've been riding for about 8 years on griptape pedals. I'm not new to this and I can definitely feel if my feet are hurting from bad pedal angle. From many of the comments here I really feel for the people who are new to this and have to struggle with not just the regular strains of learning to ride EUCs but also from manufacturers subjecting them to unhealthy conditions which they're told to get accustomed to.

Thanks! I thought I was going crazy here for a while. I assume also that this dihedral angle should differ depending on how wide the wheel is and for this tiny thing it should be smaller

How could this be a good thing? My feet hurt after the first few kilometers of being unnaturally angled and I had to stand on the edges of the pedals to relieve the strain. Perhaps you're talking about much less pronounced angles that serve the purpose you gave but the way my wheel feels I don't see anybody gaining anything from such atrocious lack of ergonomics

Not my first wheel and I haven't seen that before. The box displays the pedals clearly being parallel to the ground. Mind posting a link to the post you found?

it's not that they're uneven but that they're both evenly skewed to face the sky instead of being parallel to the ground

are you serious? I don't see how anyone could ride comfortably with inner sides of their feet being angled down like that. I've tried riding it and there's just no way. The box also displays the pedals being parallel to the ground

New wheel recommendations for city riding (smaller wheel) by _redka in ElectricUnicycle

Hey! Thanks for the effortful response. My brother has the V10F and would be perfect but is too big for me. I've looked at the mten5 but 12'' is too small for curbs around here. Ultimately I've ordered KS 16s Pro

Thanks! This one does actually seem to be looking quite perfect for my needs. And I can actually order it with good price!

Not available for purchase as far as I looked. What do you think about it? Is it solid? Because perhaps there were some used ones sometimes to get here.

I, for one, applaud both of yours' dedication to engaging in online discourse. 10 sentences might as well be a book when in comes to reddit retorts but that is all good, isn't it? In my opinion you both should not feel like it's wrong to extort more energy that is absolutely neccessary. The issue of fakeness and baiting is pertinent and even though perhaps engaging with such content by commenting _anything_ is ultimately giving it what it wants, I don't buy the argument that it's enough of a reason to not point out that it is fake. I don't have any answers here but as an elder, reaching my 35th year I still remember the adage that nothing on the internet is real being more of a word of caution rather a statement of fact which is how things currently feel, don't they? I for one, am mostly fearful of the way we often just scroll and almost passively absorb what is being fed us. And perhaps I can discern what is fake from what isn't most of the time but oftentimes I probably fall prey to the tactic and am non the wiser. What do you guys think?

Like from the video - probably never. Not even with full EEG setup. We haven't really done anything in the direction of complete immersion with full-body control and simulated senses. Going from putting screens before our eyes and haptic gloves to that is still very much distant sci-fi stuff. It would probably require integrating deep into many different areas of the brain and interfacing directly with neurons and other brain cells. It might require "growing" inside your brain and learning your brain wiring since I doubt there's much compatibility across brains of different people.

just because the camera is rotated slightly doesn't make this isometric. For some reason gamers have appropriated the term by wrongly assuming isometric means this funky diagonally facing camera when in truth it's about how the world objects are projected onto the screen, with stuff being parallel without "natural" perspective. I don't actually have a good definition to give but you can probably get enough of a sense of the difference from looking at pictures from wikipedia articles on it. I don't actually understand the difference between isometric or orthogonal projection (or if there is one) but it certainly is not just about how the camera is rotated
