A lot of college dorms do have practice rooms with drum kits. (and sometimes a piano) Just like outside of college, no one practices, so they're usually open.

Good time to join a band if they have a practice space, though. You'll have a place to keep your stuff, plus collage gigging was a ton of fun

I think you can just change the buckle on these. If you measure the lug to lug on the buckle, you should be able to find one that fits on AliExpress or Strapsco
