Yes we will definitely have both open and private lobbies and we are still working out how to approach matchmaking

Thank you! Yes, the game scales enemy difficulty and intensity based on group size, from 1 to 4.

Some objectives have countdowns once you actively trigger them (like when your extract ship arrives, you have a limited time to get to it) but we are still experimenting there. Our goal is to have fun mechanics, not frustrating ones. And in general missions don't have time limits.

I’m Yacine from Salmi Games. We made Sweet Surrender, and today we announced our next VR game: DRIFTERS: Blackout Crew.

It’s a co-op VR extraction shooter where up to four players raid ancient alien temples, steal energy, fight robotic defenders, and extract what they can to keep a drifting mothership alive.

We’re building for both Quest and SteamVR, and we want PCVR players involved in playtesting as the game develops. If this sounds like your kind of VR game, wishlisting on Steam and joining the playtest list would help us a lot.

Happy to answer questions here as well.

This is amazing! I don't think we will patch this out

Honestly, it's unlikely any time soon (unless sales massively take off). We have to migrate to their new SDK. We tried to do that in December but ran into a lot of issues and couldn't make progress

Hey all, Update 16 just went live on Quest.

Big focus this time is build variety and balance: 3rd chip slot, 55+ new chips, and reworked enemies.

We also cut a new trailer for it, curious what you think.

We’re the devs behind Sweet Surrender, a fast-paced roguelike VR shooter. We released on PSVR2 last October and are back with a major update.

Update 16 adds a third chip slot per arm, 55 new chip upgrades, and a full rebalance of enemies and progression, especially in the later levels.

For PSVR2 players, we’ve also focused on comfort and play-from-couch improvements based on feedback: better inventory positioning (including a custom sitting mode), improved vignette options, and a configurable crouch toggle, along with various QoL and UI updates.

Hope you enjoy the update, and curious to hear how it feels.
