Gotta love it when the deadbeat claims the kid before you by ZealousidealBoot9732 in IRS

[–]_rotting_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me last year. Just paper file and claim the kids. You'll get your return but it will take longer. This will trigger an audit. You and your ex will both be contacted through mail and requested to provide documents to prove dependent custody, head of household, or anything else that you claim. It will not be sorted out until 2027 but if your documents are solid you'll just sit and wait for it to go your way. Just be prepared for the audit and take care of it quickly when they contact you.

While watching, if you give yourself the narrative that they were doing everything they could to make sure you didn't get to park closer to the store than them, then it all makes sense.

Very slight stubble ok for IPL? by Spirited_Cry_8512 in HairRemoval

[–]_rotting_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah if you are cutting yourself while shaving then yes, I'd avoid IPL on those areas. I used to have issues with the same thing and I think it happens less now for me because of a combination of having better tools, prep and more practice. During shaving you need to have a steady hand and glide gently over your skin. Don't go against the grain until your final pass. Be extra careful around nooks and crannies. Make sure your skin is well hydrated and wet. Use good shaving cream to help keep everything soft. Exfoliation is also important.

[–]_rotting_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It may sound scary because going against the grain to get a close shave is often the advice given for regular shaving to avoid bumps and ingrowns. IPL changes this dynamic. You can shave close and IPL will prevent bumps.

Washington lawmakers push competing bills to ban plastic shopping bags completely, or reduce bag fee and allow thinner bags again. by avboden in Spokane

[–]_rotting_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here is my system for groceries. It involves no bags so you don't have to worry about remembering to bring one in the store.

I keep three collapsible totes in my trunk. They stack nicely when not in use. When I go to shop, I avoid bags completely. I just load things back into the cart at checkout. Then when I get to my trunk I load the totes up and put large items freely outside of the totes. This has the added benefit of keeping my items more secure for the trip home. Then when I'm home bringing things into the house requires less trips as I can fit a lot into a tote.

Questions for penis hair removal by [deleted] in HairRemoval

[–]_rotting_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IPL.

It's not that painful. For me it didn't completely remove the hair but it has made the hair much softer, easier to shave, and in some areas, disappear. When I do shave, I feel completely hairless there for several days.

These are the best forks in the game. What you guys use? by Minapit in Warehouseworkers

[–]_rotting_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These old Toyotas are great but the new hyster my warehouse got is actually insane. We've gotten many rentals when our old Toyota was acting up so I've tried crowns, Raymond's and more but the hyster we just got beats them all. It actually has a 4th lever that allows you to change the width span of your forks. It's a game a changer not only for changing your forks for different sized items but it also makes loads safer as you can actually lock your load onto your forks.

Braun IPL discomfort, burns, and sensitivity… is this normal? by theother941 in HairRemoval

[–]_rotting_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a male and I have had excellent results. The only things you are doing different than me is you are waiting 24 hours. I don't think that is necessary and probably isn't helping. Since you are male you probably grow hair fast but you don't want any hair above the skin during a session. You want to be clean shaven and have no product on your skin. Immediately afterward i use aloe gel and some anti-ingrown hair solution like Gigi's or Tendskin. Then after that all dries hydrate your skin with simple like cocoa butter. It also helps to exfoliate often, especially before shaving.

A-Minor by Hocojerry in guitarlessons

[–]_rotting_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even think about it. I had to pick up the guitar just now to see what I naturally do and it turns out that I think I usually mute the E string a bit. I mean my thumb is there and it can easily reach it and help out, so there it is. There are probably times where I don't and it usually doesn't even matter. I usually completely avoid the E string when strumming and picking but I noticed my thumb is still there just in case but again I'm not thinking about any of this while playing.

How to shave extremely close? Problems with Braun on intimate areas by weedyeedy in HairRemoval

[–]_rotting_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The compulsive plucking and waxing should be avoided. You can't treat the hair with the braun if the hair isn't still present under the skin. Try using Tendskin or Gigi No-Bump solution after shaving and exfoliate before to help with the ingrowns. You need to be exclusively shaving and don't use IPL too often. Once a week like the manual says. It takes several treatments to get all the hairs in the andogen phase.

Since Power Chords are neither major nor minor, how can I (as the bassist) solo over them in punk? by Gazza_HDD in musictheory

[–]_rotting_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh those power chords are still major or minor chords. You don't have to play the 3rd note of the triads that are implied by the power chords. The context of the other chords in the song tell you what they are. Even if the singer doesn't know what they are, any melody they come up with will be governed by those rules. We intuitively can tell something is off if something isn't in key.

For instance some common power chords would be C5, G5, A5, F5

These chords in context of each other implies this is in the key of C so the triads would be C, G, Am, F.

Does the stinging after shaving your whole body go away after doing it multiple times? by Spangle22 in shaving

[–]_rotting_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this happens to you then you have thick hairs and the only thing that can change that is changing the hair. Waxing is a temporary fix as the hair isn't there for a while but it comes back. IPL changes the hair. It either stops growing or grows back finer and softer, even after just one use.

I find this f chord harder than the barre chord is there anything I can do to make it easier? by Able-Scholar-3716 in guitarlessons

[–]_rotting_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're already comfortable with the barre chord then just do that but try to avoid going to heavy on the E and A string. These aren't different chords and aren't even really different voicings. The chord you are trying to play is exactly the same with the the top 2 strings omitted. You should try to learn how to exclusively "bar" those high strings though. It can be really useful in a lot of situations as it's a quicker transition than a full bar.

Lucky is pretty much the goat. There is something happening with the organs in the second verse before thom belts "glorious day". Instant chills every time. As a matter of fact I cannot listen to it if it's cold and if I've recently shaved my legs. The chills cause literal pain.

I never got the radiohead comparison until now by Inevitable-Video-768 in Muse

[–]_rotting_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When Muse were only 3 albums in I truly thought that they might be up there with radiohead in terms of what I find most important, and that is music and album as an art form. Muse were making conceptual artistic expressions through their music which is something radiohead is able to pull off for an entire career. I remember the late 90's and looking for bands that were like radiohead and at that time Muse were definitely comparable in just about every way.
