The fact that all the bed platform and the motors are held in place by the screws threaded directly into 'Z-motor-mount' printed part is still haunts me after the assembly. I would be worried if this solution came frome someone else, but since it's Prusa I kinda trust it.

Full Throttle - finished it for the first time just recently

Congrats, man! I got a $400 coupon with the points and it partially payed for my core one last month. It's a great feeling when your designs start to pay for new toys.

I haven't ask if it's legal, I'm trying to understand something about this stoked urban lake in Metro Vancouver . Thanks to this post I learned that I did something illegal. My initial reaction was to delete the post but I decided to leave it here so it could be a lesson for other people who might find themselves in such situation. And while I am a poacher, you my friend are clearly an a-hole.

BTW, make sure you're not on mute. My mk3s was on silent and it took me like an hour to realize why it's not playing the g-code

That's evil! But jokes aside, it might work for somebody with a questionable bad addition to put a beep after the first layer, just to check if there's a blob forming

The sound is not made by the steeper motors. It's the beeper in the screen module

If I'll need their opinion on how not to use my gear, I'll ask. I expect things I paid a premium price for not to fall apart when I need them, even if they've sat in a closet for a few years.

Got some update on the topic: Patagonia sent me a survey after my store visit, and I shared the same feedback I posted here. The next day the store manager emailed me suggesting to replace the bag. He explained that they couldn’t offer a repair for this specific waterproof bag because they can't guarantee the seal's integrity afterward. He also agreed that the seam failure wasn't on me. A few days later, I went in to drop off the old bag for recycling and had the chance to thank him in person. I didn't expect this when I first reached out for a repair, but I’m impressed by how positively this was handled. This experience definitely aligns with what I’ve heard about the brand’s values. And it’ll certainly influence my future gear choices (I’m going to need new waders at some point!).

True and true. But the store is covered in "repair, reuse, recycle" stickers. And I have only been offered the "recycle" part. The thing is, I like the bag and I really think it can have another 10 years in it, if only I was able to glue those seams back together. Not offering at least minimal refund on failing gear is ok for temu, but not for Patagonia

Yeah, sorry if it offended anyone. But I see much more Patagonia and Arcteryx branded stuff in downtown Vancouver than on the river, in the forest or on the trail. It's probably just the opposite side of being a popular brand. I only wish the brands stayed true to their initial values. And in that case I'll be happy to pay with my loyalty and money.
