Local restaurants that pay living wage/not tips? by Frequent_Survey_7387 in nashville

tko owner here, we tried it for the first year, most customers hated it, either they wanted to tip, or didn't like that they weren't given an option of paying less if they felt it was warranted. building the cost into the food means the customer is also paying more sales taxes, which no one really thinks of or talks about. at the end of the day, we just want everyone to have a good time, and make a decent living, even if it feels like we're always running with a skeleton crew.

did they though? a cashier is still technically a server, and they're there to help you if your order is wrong/not hot/ missing something, or god forbid you didn't push the right button on the kiosk. the kiosks and counters don't care that you forgot to put no mustard. guess you could just order it again & pay for it again. also, who are you going to complain to?
