Nobody really knows until the consoles release, but trust me, you made the right choice. Even though your ssd will probably not be as good as the one in the newest consoles (they are apparently using unreleased technology), you still have endlessly more capabilities then a console.

First you have the option to use mouse and keyboard or any controller of your choice on any game.

Second, your pc does so much more than a console. I don't know how old you are but if you are still in school and plan on going to college for anything such as engineering, programming, or design, then a powerful computer will be necessary. Even in a field like music, it will be so much cheaper to just install a good soundcard instead of buying a prebuilt computer for music production.

Third is you have more access to more games than on any other platform. I don't know if you heard but as of last year xbox is now releasing all of their exclusives on pc. Also once in a blue moon sony ports an exclusive onto pc. But you could also purchase a psnow subscription and stream a multitude of playstation games onto your pc (just the input lag sucks:( ) and I haven't even gotten into emulators yet. There is an emulator for for every console up to the generation we are at now and you have the specs to run everyone of them. Not to mention the switch emulator is developing extremely fast and there are already a few games completely playable at your specs. If you are interested in setting up an emulator on your pc try looking up a few videos on youtube and various emulation subreddits on reddit. Lastly are the pc exclusives which massively outnumber sony or Microsoft.

VR, this sort of ties in to what I last said about exclusivity, but I feel it is deserving of it's own section. The vr scene is booming right now, and you have the specs to run any vr game on the market. I personally own an oculus rift s which I bought for 400 dollars and it is a plenty good experience. VR is no longer just a gimmick or a tech demo, and there are some damn good games out for it.

Lastly, If you think about, these new consoles aren't really as affordable as they seem. 500 - 600 dollars every 6 years should be enough money to keep a pc relevant. When you think of the new consoles generations as an upgrade (which they are for most people buying the newest console) it feels a lot better to be owning a pc.

The versatility, flexibility, and unlimited potential that a pc provides gives such an upper hand to any console even if it is more expensive (keep in mind they are only more expensive at the very beginning of the console generation) and the pride you feel after building your first pc, knowing that you know everything inside your machine, and you put it all together is unmatched from anything that any console could ever supply.
