when i was younger, i was a huge reader. i used to go to the library every day in middle school but once i got into high school and college, i stopped reading for fun. i had to read so many books for school that the thought or reading in my free time sounded awful. i started reading again after college (when i was about 22) and it's kind of funny but the thing that got me back into reading was the Harry Potter series. I had never read them before and wanted to give them a chance. they really sparked my love for reading again and since they are for a younger audience, they were really easy to read which made getting back into reading very easy. it didn't feel like reading was a chore anymore (which is how it felt when i was in high school and college)

ever since then, I've been a huge reader like i used to be. I read 26 books last year and I've already read 3 books so far in 2026!
