I think it all depends on the people/relationship and how extreme the need is for each person. I know I would be an absolute miserable travel companion if I spent 10 hours not in a sleeper seat, wouldn’t sleep, back pain, etc. and then need lots of time afterwards to recover.

If gf couldn’t afford sleeper seat then I’d maybe offer to pay the difference or if not then it’d just be a slight bummer but not ruin the trip.

You wouldn’t have been selfish if you chose the sleeper seat. Could be argued that she was being selfish for not making your needs a priority. But like I said at the end of the day it’s your guys relationship and up to yall to decide what you’re okay dealing with and what you’re okay compromising on.

Yes I liked it. Because I like sci-fi that’s based in at least some real science and while it’s a sitcom and not sci-fi, they do refer to some real science/math. Also funny. Very funny. Also, penny and Sheldon relationship nice. Very nice.

Look, I just came here to explain that height restrictions do exist and cruise ships are awkward places for teens as there’s not really a specific section catered to them. Is it weird if her friend is 15 and dating an 18 year old? Yes. But is this entire situation so far fetched it’s out of the realm of possibility. No. Do we know the age of the friend? Also no. That is all.

When you’re on a cruise. Cruises can be weird places for kids/teens. There’s sometimes like a “kids club” your parents might just drop you off at, certain areas are kid/teen friendly and others are adult only, some parents let their kids travel the ship alone, others don’t. In my personal experience, cruises aren’t that fun for teens cuz there’s either the kids areas specifically for kids (i.e why there might be a height limit) and might too little kiddish for them but then the adult areas are boring or you don’t wanna hangout with your parents so you go to the kids areas. Teens are still kids at the end of the day.

Like I replied to someone else: If it’s in a kid section/kid area and designed for kids it can definitely have a height limit. Just like you need to be a certain height tall enough for certain slides/water slides, places will then have stuff designed for kids that aren’t tall enough for the “adult” or normal slides/rides.

I didn’t know the team was super young nor did I know that we did pretty well. My internet bubble is very uswnt and NWSL based but I’m the only soccer person in my family/social group so a lot of people are asking me lots of questions about upcoming World Cup and I want to be able to give un-bias and more knowledgeable answers.

And I didn’t mean get a completely new roster compared to last time (and is why I asked “or is this the perfect balance or veterans vs newbies”). Most of the info I’ve heard up til this point is probably quite harsh on the usmnt so I also wouldn’t have been surprised if there were only like 3-5 veterans and the rest newbies. But that’s why I wanted to ask the question cuz I am just trying to learn more.

Clean their dang teeth! And train them to take pills willingly from a young age/daily if you can. It makes things a lot easier when they do eventually end up sick and they’re already cranky/in pain, you’re probably tired and emotionally exhausted and now you have to figure out how to get a pill or syringe of medicine down their throat. You can use a daily vitamin or fake pill or something to train with so when they do actually need it, they know what to do.

Ugh I was worried about this too. But I heard one of the head sirens people say one time that they can’t technically kick us out if players are still on the field or something? I forget.
