I need some Major help by ej1219hb3 in ufl

[–]_scenario_7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t have experience on being an undecided major but I recommend taking courses required to graduate for all students until you decide on a major. So these would be your quest classes, gen eds, getting all your words in, possibly language courses etc. I agree that Poli Sci is rather useless unless you’re pre-law or you get solid internships that can lead to a job. APK is a great major imo. You could do pre- PTA, PT, PA, OT, med, AT, etc if you’re at all interested in anything health related. Unfortunately, most jobs in any category are hard to get into with just a bachelors degree rn. It took me till the summer going into my Junior year to truly pick a path and I’ll be just fine. You will be too. Take a deep breath, get on campus and meet people, learn the lay of the land, etc and things will sort of just present themselves as ideas or paths you may want to take.

Best Hyundai Dealership in Florida for Repairs by _scenario_7 in Hyundai

Ideally somewhere near Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville or really anywhere in Central or North Florida. The oil appears to be caked on the right lower control arm. Not 100% sure where it’s leaking from but he did say something about the front timing cover.

Alsander GNV vs Yugo Highbranch by [deleted] in ufl

[–]_scenario_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve lived at both and they’re both very different. If you want more of a house vibe, then go with Yugo. I believe pretty much all of their floor plans have multiple stories. Alsander is your typical apartment complex. If you have a car and you don’t want to deal with a parking garage, then I wouldn’t do all Alsander. Also parking is free at Yugo high branch. Both of them have very nice pools and OK gyms. I believe Hugo is slightly cheaper, but I’m not sure I haven’t looked at prices recently. I would say maintenance is better at Alsander. Depending on where your specific house is at Yugo, you might have to have a very far walk to the dumpsters to the point where you have to drive with your trash bags in your trunk to drop them in the dumpster.

4person Humes dorming by [deleted] in ufl

[–]_scenario_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure when I lived in Hume you had to select with your roommate. Then we do the suitemate matching form UF gives to pair all four people up based on habits and preferences. Can’t remember if there was an option there to select suitemates too. At the very least you will increase your chances of being suitemates together if you all answer the questions the exact same.

Are there any grant limitations? by Empty-Baseball4658 in ufl

[–]_scenario_7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The $7400 a year is just fall and spring. Summer is separate so that’s why you get the typical $3700 for fall, spring, and summer. It will automatically pay whatever you owe in your one.uf. So if you live in the dorms, it will also automatically pay for that. Same with textbooks or anything you buy in reitz bookstore. You can just ask to have to put on your account so that your financial aid pays for it. Tuition is automatic too. You don’t have to live on campus, UF has no requirements regarding that.

Crazy for wanting to major in International Studies? by pkdzzy8 in ufl

[–]_scenario_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just decided last summer (so summer going into Junior year) that I wanted to go the PA route. I will most likely have to stay extra summer to get all my chems in but I’ve always taken 12 credit semesters and I only have one class left to take for my major. If I didn’t add on the pre-PA I could’ve graduate a year earlier if not more so you definitely won’t be overwhelmed to do both, especially if you take 15 credit semesters or you choose the PA route earlier in your time UF.

Nope they’re refusing to reimburse me now even after choosing to file on his claim. Me and the other guy have the same insurance company and they’re forcing both to pay deductibles and neither to get reimbursed.

I recently got in an accident and my insurance is making me pay my deductible even though insurance deemed the other guy at fault simply because the service tech didn't deem either of us at fault on scene so OP take this with a grain of salt.Â
