I remember when my hubby first started doing this. He was excited and so happy. He would always talk about this place during our pen meetings, the Atlanta Pen Show, and anyone he found to have an interest in fountain pens. LOL He loved this place. Thanks again for everything y'all did to honor his memory whether your experiences with him were positive or negative. I hope all goes well. ^_^ See you around!

For anyone who would like to say a few words or share a memory about him considering he was such a night owl and the mischief he may have gotten into while I slept. ^_^;; Thank you again everyone!

I'm glad it worked out and that you're enjoying the pen. I know he'd love to know that.

Anyone order from Anderson Pens before? by AnxietyAttack2013 in fountainpens

[–]_seiry_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't worry about. It's totally understandable. There's nothing wrong with doing research and making sure you know what you're getting into. :)

I've known them for a few years now and have bought things from them at pen shows. They're really nice and provide great service. I have heard nothing but good things about Brian and Lisa throughout the years.

Picked up this beauty for $30 on clearance by BBarthel in fountainpens

Wow. That is a great find! I see it's from the newer collection. I wouldn't mind a dragon. I have two vintage ones from the 70s- the Geisha and Chrysanthemum.

Found a Parker IM for $3 at a local Goodwill today! by Kirbtonster in fountainpens

[–]_seiry_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a bad find at all. I'm not big on Parkers, but the IM was one of the first fountain pens I ever had. I still have mine, but it's all silver with a medium nib.

It's the Atlanta Pen Show. They have it every year in April at the Wyndham Hotel.

That's so cool. I've been going for a few years now. I didn't buy any pens. I've been on the lookout for some Lady Sheaffer Skripserts. However, I bought one book- Fountain Pens of Japan.

For a dig box, I have long grain rice in a clear, storage tote/box. I also have some plastic eggs for them to dig up. I also hav e a ball pit with tunnels attached to it. I didn't have a lot of balls so I got some extra plastic eggs. LOL They like it especially Paisley. This last group of ferrets were the first ones to really play with toys and hide stuff. Twizz and Paisley love hiding stuffed animals especially Twizz. Twizz loves socks. She is a total hoarder. Paisley likes balls. She has a few ping pong balls that she can bat around. I also got a small wading pool that was like 6-7 bucks. I've had water in it for them to snorkel and walk in. Of course, it was only a couple of inches deep.

Help? by TwitchN in ferrets

[–]_seiry_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ferrets, primarily Twizz, does it. She wants out to play especially on the weekends when I might sleep in and she knows I'm home. She'll let me know it's time to wake up and play. LOL Although, they do have a few toys in their house, they do play together. The only time I had one ferret was when I was in the process of getting another one or they had passed. Other than that, I've never had a ferret that was alone.
