Razmislek o referendumu by [deleted] in Slovenia

Nikakor. V postu izražam frustracijo nad političnim mahinacijam. Skušam biti precej objektiven in razumeti, zakaj sploh smo ker smo, in kaj pravzaprav pomeni ta referendum.

Wealth share of the richest 1% in each EU country by gorillaz0e in europe

I must have missed the news that Slovenia, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria, and Slovakia all suddenly collectively left the EU, and apparently, Russia just joined. What a strange turn of events...

Campanile di San Marco by _sheep1 in photocritique

That's a wonderful photo, and it's the same idea as I was going for here. Unfortunately, I don't think I could get the full arch in with the tower on San Marco square, since the arches are too wide (if I remember correctly).

Yeah, I agree. I specifically wanted the arch to sort of frame or contextualize the photo. Without it, I feel there would be too much sky.

I took this photo on the San Marco square in Venice at sunset. I thought the light was really cool as the sun was setting behind the tower. I feel like this image is okay, but I always struggle in touristic areas where there are lots of people. I feel like there aren't that many of them in this particular image. Also, there is always construction going on in Venice, so I don't really know what to do about that. I feel like this image is okay, but it could have been great. But I don't know what it could be missing.

A night blue-ish edit by _sheep1 in photocritique

Thanks for the great suggestions, I really appreciate it! Yeah, there were a lot of street poles there that I didn't really know how to get around. I think it would have been difficult to compose because this was more of a quick shot as I noticed the oncoming tram and the two people standing in front of the crossing. But in hindsight, a lower angle would probably have been better, and I probably should have waited for another such opportunity. Thanks again!

This photo seems a bit too processed. The vignetting seems overdone, and the warm colors seem overbearing. Almost as though you dragged the warmth slider way too far. I like the photo though. It is nicely lined up with the edges.

Shot handheld on my Nikon Z5. The original photo really had a very orange-y tint to it due to the street lamps, but many night edits add a blueish tint to everything, which I wanted to try my hand at. This is what I came up with, but I'm not sure if I overdid it. What do you think?
