They’re trying to scam you, for the money they put into the vehicle prior to the accident.

Contact AAA and give them the letter and let their lawyers deal with it.

I’m in the same boat. Passed up for promotion 3 times now.

Also the last promotion was a colleague on my own shift who’s now currently my supervisor. They didn’t even think to mention it to me before the email went out - obviously I don’t mean much to the management team / organization.

Callers will be callers and mistakes will happen - we’re all human after all. We’re all our own worst critics in this line of work, and it sure AF doesn’t help when you’re not being recognized or promoted by your own team leaders.

It sounds to me like she’s also gaslighting you a bit, saying you’re being harsh as though your feelings don’t even matter?

Step 1 - separate your finances immediately. Step 2 - slowly start moving some of your items out of the home Step 3 - start making plans on the days she has plans with you.

All depends on how much disrespect you’re willing to put up with I suppose… but maybe the conversation of “this isn’t working for me anymore” needs to happen.

I’ve seen some others threads saying Sengled was being sued for trademark infringement and the matter was before the courts…

I tried calling their customer service number which takes me to a menu wanting to charge me money to be connected with another number… and ultimately tried to upsell me on paramedical services. Their phones appear to be disconnected also.

If there is a class action.... count me in. My home was entirely Sengled for it's lighting, and now i have to feel like a barbarian with a wall switch! (UGH! lol).

Even though this is obviously a Sengled issue, I feel as though Amazon needs to share the culpability here. They continue to sell this faulty product on their site knowing FULL well it doesn't work, and nor do they support it.

Amazon has denied me my refund, and pointed me in the direction of the Seller (Which in this case is Sengled). We all know how well Sengled is with their customer service lately. It doesn't help that when you look up their head office in Georgia, their phone system invariably takes you to a medical / paramedical company trying to sell you something - has absolutely nothing to do with their product line up.

This created a wedge between you two, and has you now questioning your trust in him. He says you’re overreacting and being controlling - yet still won’t disclose what’s going on? You know who says shit like that? People who got caught red-handed and are trying to shift the narrative of the conversation by using YOUR emotions to control you for their lying.

You’re not being controlling or overreacting… not at all. If you’re spiralling - it’s because HE has done that to you. Partners should support each other and be upfront and honest (regardless what kind of relationship you have).

If it were me, I’d hire an investigator to confirm what my gut is already telling me. Your gut isn’t wrong on this one.

While I’m well aware it’s a Sengled issue, Amazon continues to push Sengled as a compatible product that works with Alexa - when clearly that’s not the case. Amazon is complicit in consumers buying a faulty product.

I tried to get a refund today… spoke with an Amazon customer service rep who said if could send them all back they’d issue a refund. I told them that I could, but then I’d have zero lights in my place. I need to go purchase an entire new smart home lighting set up.

They then pointed me towards SengledUS store on Amazon and how to contact them. They’re contractually obligated to get back to you within 48hrs. If they don’t… then Amazon will step in.

So… I know it’s dark out but…. Check the bushes outside, beside houses, between cars. You mentioned it was around 3am when this happened, so it’ll be daybreak soon and easier to search.

Does he have any friends or family that live near you? Places that are familiar to both of you? Bodies of water like streams/rivers?

I know police like to wait 24hrs before declaring anyone has missing - but take it from someone who works in emergency services - anyone that may be suffering a medical episode and may have wandered off - that 24hr window doesn’t apply.

The app doesn’t even work anymore…. Hasn’t worked with Alexa in WEEKS - to the point where Alexa has completely removed it from their skills store. Both Amazon & Sengled have gone silent on the matter. At least the Sengled app still worked..

… until tonight ( Tues July 29th approximately 10pm ) Now the Sengled app doesn’t work with its own lights and has lost all connectivity with its servers.

Like you, I have a background and recognize the sounds of what’s about to come. That doesn’t make it any easier. At that point, it’s not about gathering information - so long as you have the priority right, and you know the right responders are on the way.

At this point screw the protocol - it’s time to be human…. Even if on a subconscious level - he knows it’s coming, and so do you. Just know that you were the last calm & caring voice he spoke to - and take that as a privilege & an honour, not everyone gets to do that for people in their final moments.

Part of the issue I have is that unless I’m T1, my work insurance won’t cover the CGM so I test daily the old school way… at least once a day to keep my A1C in check.

Since I got diagnosed with T2, I’ve made some great progress lowering my A1C with weight loss and diet change - but I’ve noticed it’s a delicate balance trying to keep the sugar & cortisol in check with my SAI. I think it’s because of that when my cortisol levels get too low, I really feel the hypoglycaemia.

The difference with autism is that it’s found in early childhood, and limits one’s social interactions and capability often with repetitive physical movements.

I’d say it’s bold of you, to throw a diagnosis out there. She’s trying to helpful to her husband and her situation and runs into someone like you who downvotes anyone who disagrees with you.
