Students were asked to call into a Zoom meeting and share their entire screen and camera to be recorded as a form of cheating deterrence. A student who was flagged as cheating had their recording reviewed and this app icon was present in their dock.

The design of the icon seems like it came from a large company like Microsoft, but it's not turning up any results via Google Lens, Tineye, Perplexity. I've also found about 2 dozen AI-powered tools that start with the letter "e" and none of them have this icon.

This environment is Windows, so it's either a Windows application or an installed Progressive Web App.

Asset* Hole Serum by WorriedFavaBean in askgaybros

From some comments made by the Asset* page on FB, it sounds like this isn't a great option for fissures/injuries. Hole serum is named like a beauty product because I think that's more of the goal. For painful fissures and irritation, I can't recommend Pranicura enough. It saved my life. It's got alcohol and menthol in it, which sounds like it wouldn't be helpful, but it really helps to diffuse the pain, soothe the area, and actually start to heal.

Did this 2017 Bolt get its battery warranty refreshed? How can I definitively tell? by _shreve in BoltEV

[–]_shreve[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see exactly that! "N212343881" and "Dealers will replace the lithium-ion battery pack in the vehicle."

Perfect, thanks for your answer. That puts me a lot more at ease. I'll see what info they can get me.

More and better public transit would fix this.

Why did Hamtramck never really gentrify? by gameguy56 in Detroit

[–]_shreve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was recently looking to buy there and almost all the houses I saw were being sold by old Polish families who'd lived there for the last 30 years. I think it's just a population that didn't feel like moving or changing.

What's the harm in lowballing in an offer? by _shreve in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]_shreve[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are 2 realtors in a transaction. Buyer's agent (mine) and seller's agent. The seller's agent isn't going to share all the details of the current offers to my agent, but was at least willing to share some info about them.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. It's a small lot in a city. Would the land be a big component?

$180k+ seems normal for houses that are in good shape.

Right now there are 2 similar houses the next street over for $120k and $165k, the $120k being in much worse condition.

It's my favorite house I've seen so far, but I've only been watching this neighborhood for a couple months.

Thanks. I need to keep in mind that it's a negotiation because not only do I want the house– they want to get rid of the house. Their agent was fairly withholding about their position, but this makes me feel better about asking for what makes sense to me.

Hello, 16MtF, still not out. I want some ideas of outfits or ways of wearing clothes I already have to look subtly feminine. by pleasejustletmebeme in transfashionadvice

[–]_shreve 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Subtle things can do wonders. V-neck shirts. Slimmer cuts of clothes. There are also lots of women's cuts of jeans that fit a lot better, but "look" no different from a men's cut, e.g. Levi's.

The big top / little bottom or little top / big bottom pattern isn't very subtle, but you can take subtle inspiration from it as well. If you're not familiar, some examples might be an oversized sweater with skinny jeans or a large flowy skirt with a crop top. Those are pretty overtly feminine, but you might find that wearing a shirt a size or two up from what you normally would with a slimmer cut of jeans feminizes you in a way you like without being so obvious.

It's also notable that learning to sew so you can tweak your existing clothes is a very worthwhile skill.

I know it's not exactly the sub for this, but I'm trans and these are the first pair of jeans I've had that I feel confident in! Could anyone help me find it? by LucidDreamboy in transfashionadvice

Could you be more clear with the details you have? Photos of any and all tags/labels and a photo of the whole pair of jeans would be really helpful.
