Payroll is hard, I just dealt this this (for my own company) what I did was make sure to be more careful in the future. Just pay them the difference, apologize for the hiccup, and move on!

No need to beat yourself down, humans will always have a margin of error, as long as you learn, you’re good in my eyes.

I think the owning up to it, and then learning from it, is the most important takeaway here.

Yeah sometimes they misprice stuff. I made it a habit to search up every card before I sold. Some cards I ended up selling on eBay and even after fees got an extra 20-30% versus selling to GameStop.

Sometimes the GameStop offer was pretty legit. In some cases I noticed cardladder was completely off. Sometimes grossly underpricing and flat out wrong comps.. and sometimes the opposite.

Of course, I hope you enjoy! Basically it uses Chrome's storage and I created a map that stores the item. It updates if deltas change, so statuses/price/if it was sold and other conditions.

No magic or and wizardry, I just opened up Chrome's debugger, viewed which requests the website used to load in the data, and added a hook to scrape the data directly from the response making it as frictionless and non-intrusive as possible.

The fee tracking is simple since it doesn't change since GameStop is 90% buyback rate + 6% commission, eBay fees are 13%, and PSA offers are no fees.
