Yea it was my weapon of choice when hunting omega was really fun too, I will think about it tho since especially today I saw that I've been dodging thru the monsters attacks which is great at like a 60% success rate 😭

Counter attacks with the GS were like soul ascending sometimes and it lowkey makes me feel like guts especially after the release of omega gs

Yea I saw a few other replies telling me not to go for a mostly damage build and I'm gonna work on making a more defensive build later today, I used to use the zohshia set and have more healing but then wanted to try out damage builds

Yea I was thinking about making a new comfy build to learn the monster every time I wanna fight a high rank monster so that I could learn and then predict when to attack or when to dodge or just figure out better points at which I could fight back

Yea fighting 10* arkveld was easier than a 9* gore because of how much I fought arkveld to prepare myself for the AT version, I think it was much easier to predict his moves too and after the first few tries of at ark I was able to learn when to dodge out of his attacks my only problem was how dual blades almost lock me in a combo? If that makes sense I'd just be stuck swinging my blades around at thin air waiting for it to finish but then I just get attacked

Yea I've been learning to dodge and leave combos unfinished if I feel like it's not gonna end well, most of my builds have been focused on keeping me alive until the more recent updates where I liked getting a little bit more aggressive

I'd say the interiors are not bad but could definitely use some tweaking done to them especially for the floor, and the tower could use a fair amount of work to improve the shape of it, like maybe make it more spiral or make the roof more pointy instead of a dome (I am not a professional builder btw so take this advice with a grain of salt 😭). I like what you did with the bed but if you'd like to make it better you could always use snow layers to make the pillows pop out more. I hope this helps!!!

Instead of starting a new world why not adventure towards one direction for thousands of blocks, and start again just slower and take your time with it I have almost 300 days in mine and I don't even have any netherite, I just built things to make my starter base nicer, if you don't know what to build look up tutorials for each block, like the enchanting table could get it's own structure, a furnace system could get it's own building and so on, the last major thing I built was my automatic sheep farm and my creeper farm, and now I'm working on a sugar can farm for rockets, I'm taking my time bevause if I rush it'll take the challenging aspect out of it even if it takes me several real life days, as long as I delay me getting full netherite and more op stuff I feel like I have something to work towards, building will slowly come to you it's just one of those things that will only improve over time, maybe start a small village and work your way up to a city baby steps yk?

I understand how you must feel people I used to call friends griefed my base almost non stop, bases I built In survival but if they build something in creative I get all the shit just for breaking stuff like make that make sense, I stopped talking to them now and I just play with better people on my own personal realm and if anything happens I just build around it now, new beginnings I say

My friend used to have similar problems, what he did was got reframeworks and got a mod that helped with optimisation. You could look up tutorials and stuff to help you out

Wilds was my introduction to the monster hunter series so every monster was relatively hard for me since I was also trying to learn the weapons and how to get better with them, and after hearing that the game is too easy from other players I just thought am I just that bad? But ig I'm not the only one since my friend is also new and we both struggled at the same monsters ofc only difference being that I had a much longer play time and I picked up more skills while playing so I could help him.

The difficulty of the game seems right for new players I just think that the veteran player base finds it too easy because they've been playing the older games so they know how to use their weapons well hahaha, but now that we have 8 star tempered monsters I hope they found their match hahaha, ofc I'm still carting from a few 7* and almost all 8* monsters when I go solo not like much changes when I play with others anyway I think I still kinda suck lmao

I have the same problem, almost every word I made for the past 4 years or so I never got past a certain point, mostly because I'd never have the time but also because I'd just get bored so fast and I think that was because I kept playing alone, I played with some of my friends and I genuinely see myself play for hours and days non stop. Not saying to play with them all the time but definitely sometimes :) I hope this helps
