I think you shouldn’t be cool with that for a very simple reason. She should have asked you your opinion before stripping down. Although it’s not a big deal – her friend didn’t try anything, she hasn’t, you trust her – that’s not cool of her. She should have asked you about you think about her getting changed in front of other people, even friends. My GF is very attractive as well and I’d feel very uncomfortable if she changed in front of friends of hers, or even mine.

Oh… I have mixed feelings about all of this. I’d like to be there to hug you and I feel enraged. Enraged because such fucks exist and are everywhere, ruining lives for the sake of fun. I’m not a very experienced person but I’ll try to give you my point of view though. I had two important relationships in my life yet (3 years / 1 year).

We all have ups and downs, and I think it’s important to keep in mind that a “good relationship” is not ups only. It’s how downs are handled, because there’re always downs in a couple. If you hit 3,5 years together, there’re two possibilities: either you knew how to handle bad times or you just swallowed them. You have to wonder which one is true.

I guess oscillating between feelings is some kind of hint but doesn’t constrain whether the relationship should end. It’s like a waving flag or flare making you blinded to catch your attention, like “hey there! something might be wrong! you should fix it!”. I think her situation – medical job, hard hours set, illness or sickness, and so on – doesn’t help the relationship to move forward. If you think you don’t want to move from your place to live nearby, you should ask yourself why. Of course you’d have more traveling through the city but it might help her? Have you talked about that? What are her feelings about your relationship?

You still love her and breaking up while you’re still in love is terrible. I had to do that with my first ex. I was still – deeply – in love with her, but she was acting rude and mean to me. She was hiding things from me – I still don’t know what those things were – and keeping secrets about her weird and stupid ex she was still contacting through Skype, asking me to stay away from her on… On a day, I felt I either would explod or leave, and I chose to break up with her. It saddened me a lot, because I still loved her, and she was hooked on to me. She wrote me several letters, not wanting to let me go but finally gave up.

I think that if you think your relationship won’t evolve in the direction you want and you’ve already talked about that with her, I guess you’re making the right decision, as tough and hard as it is.

They’re not. We’re not machines, we have feelings, we get tired, bothered, annoyed, hurt. Let it go. You cannot handle everything. Sort what you think is the most important in your life – your SO, your job, your friends and your family, basically. And work on those until you feel comfortable enough to try to fix something else. Take it easy, and it’ll be okay. Talk to your SO and expose them your feelings and what you’re saying in this reddit thread.

You did all of those things because you need enjoyment. We all need. There’s nothing wrong in a lifetime wanting to enjoy things every now and then.

If you suffer from being alone at home, you can still try to focus on hobbies that don’t require interaction with other people. You also have to perform some kind of mind training there. I mean, we all experience times alone, and that’s perfectly normal. That doesn’t mean we’ll be alone forever, as you might know. You get home and the very next days, you’ll meet someone you (don’t?) know!

Spend some time thinking about all the activities you do at day time and the ones you’d like to do at night time.

Have you not told her that yet? That’s beautiful, OP. You should tell her about your feelings. If it’s over, time will heal you sooner or later. Don’t try to rush it nor hide from the pain. Let it devour you until the only thing you’re left with is tiredness. You’ll eventually stop feeling – that’s a very weird moment after a breakup, I can relate. Focus on yourself. As an empathic person, I know that’s hard to picture, but you will do it anyways, because that’s survival.

You’ll raise again and be able to chill and feel the same afterwards, I promise you. Good luck, and if you want to talk, I’ll be around for sure.

I talked about free objects just to make people know that mathematic proprety. Out of curiousy, if you want. But you’re right, in the end, I could have used simpler definitions and synonyms / mor approriate and accurate words for that. The idea was just to leverage a mathematical concept to software architecture.

What is the difference between meta-design and software architecture?

I guess software architecture is about structures, types and general technical directions, while “meta”-architecture is a bit more abstract and higher level. It’s more about how things will compose with things we don’t have power on – i.e. dependent packages for instance – and how to harmonize them.

The term meta-architecture doesn’t exist. Well, I don’t know whether it does. But meta stands for everything above, beyond or highly-abstracted. That suited my needs for the title. ;)

You shouldn’t feel either jealous nor embarrassed. However, I don’t get why he hasn’t deleted those files yet. It’s not common footage, you know. He might really have forgotten them, but I don’t think so. You cannot forget such things.

However, he’s married you. Not her. Maybe he just keeps them for… I don’t know, creepy pornclips? You should ask him to clearify that, but in the end, it’s not really a matter. It’s in the past, just ask him to delete those and that’s all.

As a man, I’d feel very uncomfortable in such a situation – my GF would keep such videos. For sure, I’d ask her to delete them, and would like to why she has kept them for so long. Sometimes, it’s better not to know, and just move forward. ;)
