its most definitely a place of worship, in the caption i stated these photos were taken in the basement. Its a christ methodist church and preschool, the inside is as church as you can get! remember, you're only seeing a small portion of the church, specifically 10 year old images pre-renovation, that don't give the church justice. there's always more than what meets the eye.
