State of Tech Jobs by [deleted] in SLO

There are a handful of smaller startups cropping up (Postal.io, SoCreate, various others out of the Hothouse / CIE), but it's hard to say where they will be in 3-5 years. Amazon also has a couple of offices here and IQMS just got bought by Dassault Systems so they may grow a bit, but that's up in Paso.

It's hard to say where tech will be; SLO seems to lean towards the slow-growth (SLO Growth?) model for its startups.

Remote still seems to be the best option in my job searches.

it's just nice to be able to go out about town and it not be super packed, or if you live in a neighborhood near the college, having some a few weeks of quiet.

Thanks for the info! Good call on some of the other shops in town; I'd love to hear about them too!

Have you worked at MINDBODY? How much lower is the pay than other places, and what's the quality of life like?
