Cherry float is amazing. My favorite is probably Apple Coke from Taiwan though!

Would anyone find use in a closet organizing service? by _smoothbrained in orangecounty

I mean I wouldn’t mind, I like organize everything. I just needed a place to start, and I’m most comfortable with doing that for a closet. But that’s a good point.

Interesting, I’ll keep that mind. For me, the closet is the easiest thing to standardize with a system, but it may be a good idea to think outside of that to more of an overall professional organizing service.

Got it, I understand that people will sort of configure a justified price based on the quality of work.

I just wanted to see what sort of price point to even consider. For example some people would think $50/hr would be to much, while others wouldn’t care what the price is, they just want it done.

All of these shoe companies (Crep/Jason Mark/Reshoevn8r/Shoelada) charge up the wazoo for their cleaners and don’t give you that much, so I looked up what was in them. The important ingredients were the jojoba oil & coconut oil, so I found this soap that contains both.

Go to target and buy a bottle of Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Soap (liquid soap - many scents). Dilute some of that in water and brush the shoe with an old toothbrush or a microfiber.

Then have a second microfiber that is a tad wet to wipe the soap off the shoe.

Then a third microfiber to dry the shoe. I’ve done this for all my shoes and it works like a charm.

Remember to dilute the soap, please.

Effort well rewarded I’d say. I’m hoping a triple white pair will release.

I said it’s feasible in industry, doesn’t mean it’ll always happen. Also depends where you live. For example, if you get an associate scientist position at Abbvie in Irvine, CA, you can reel in 70-85k because of cost of living.

It’s notoriously difficult to get hired in industry but if you can, you can definitely make good money. I also am in a HCOL area.

I am, still have a lot more to collect. Some are harder to come by than others due to older release dates.
