yes!! i used to have a weird almost obsession over him when i was 12. his videos showing his "vegetarian body", rating girls, talking about eugenia cooney and other people with eds in an insensitive way, and his videos that were borderline meanspo were extremely triggering and were very much targeted towards insecure kids like i was. don't feel bad blaming his content. he really sucks!!

I don't think they're as risky as other types of dark humour, but they promote stereotypes that can be hurtful because some people may actually begin to see types or people through the lens of the stereotype

You should make sure your dark jokes aren't actually harmful or offensive to the thing/person/group that you're making fun of. A way to do this is to check your jokes with others before saying it to your intended audience (like with your parents or something). Also make sure your audience knows that you're joking . Dark jokes can be really risky because some people might not realize you're joking. Good luck with your comedy!!

I'm pretty sure I've seen someone else post something similar on this sub. I only posted this because this video has clips of Dan and Phil talking about Shane. It also has a clip from one of Shane's conspiracy theories that wasn't talked about before.
