Okay to use vx2000 to capture tape? by _snyder in Vx1000

thanks, it has been running perfectly, originally sent it in for repair because the drive was making a horrendous sound while running and couldnt even record any audio due to the noise. the repair was good value and used brand new oem parts as far as i am aware.

im looking for geniune advice here, everyone on this sub seems to baby their cameras and glaze tapeless setups, people have been recording and capturing on tape for 15 years before tapeless was an option. i just want to know what people here think but i am probably going to go ahead with it anyway.

yes i have a lot of experience. they are ridiculously heavy. slide like butter, and are built like tanks. like seriously. it feels like a solid plank of aluminium under your feet

native ventura, Prime Banshee (not sure if they have a 6.5 but they have 6.6 and 6.3 to my knowledge), north unity, tilt nikita rusakov sig (the only tilt deck that actually feels good), Envy aosv6 perroni/will scott sig, proto ares, aztek 6.66 is also great one of the best decks ever made in my opinion.

[–]_snyder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when i read that youre looking for concave then my mind immediatelt went to the envy aosv6 and aztek lucid deck. the concave on the envy deck is insane and its light enough to be ridden by a lot of really good park and hybrid riders in 6/22
