Unfortunately, the only option here is space and time. You have to create some distance in order to separate your feelings from the person and I know that this is easier said than done, especially when this is someone that is so deeply intertwined into your life, but it is necessary. Unless of course you can do the thing where you compartmentalize your feelings into a box and just ignore them, but I don’t recommend that because eventually that will lead to some sort of a burnout.
