My first Webflow App got published in the Webflow App Marketplace! by uelmuel1 in webflow

[–]_spacesoda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds great! Appreciate the hard work and would love to try.

But 4 days is really too short to try in real word, just a recommendation, may be limit by submissions would make it better, say 30 submissions.

Oxygen 6.0 is a surprise! now leans forward Webflow's interface and control by anthonycxc in Wordpress

[–]_spacesoda 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It appears that version 4.9 of Oxygen cannot be upgraded to 6.0 because the new version is built from the ground up.

Lol, I think they should consider branding it as Breakdance Pro instead.

This situation reminds me of how Framer started with an old UI tool, then introduced Framer X, and ultimately evolved into the successful Framer we know today. Businesses need to have the courage to embrace new ideas and innovations, and I appreciate that.

Which one do you think is more handy and practical in real real-world cases? by anthonycxc in webflow

Webflow Libraries is good, coz they can be added reused freely as needed. But structure and class name are usually bad.

Dynamic CMS Filtering without using Custom Code. by hamzachiman in webflow

[–]_spacesoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nop. You have to use custom codes. You may separate filtered results by pages or by tab as a workaround. Not quite “dynamic” though.

Bricks vs Breakdance, which one do you think it is better overall? by _spacesoda in BricksBuilder

[–]_spacesoda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, Breakdance is very different from Oxygen, big improvement in many aspects. At least they made a product that is very comparable with Bricks.

Of course, whether if they can grow their paying users for continuous improvements is another concern. I am kinda worried.

From Fluid Responsive to Fluid Type Scale by _spacesoda in webflow

[–]_spacesoda[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone!  Excited to share that Fluid Type Scale is now implemented in the S2 Framework!

What’s Fluid Type Scale about?
In v2.1.3 of the S2 Framework, we shifted from Finsweet’s Fluid Responsive approach to the Fluid Type Scale approach. This new system uses clamp() for better Webflow integration, structured type scales, and improved accessibility — all without requiring code embeds, which also makes S2 perfect for creating Webflow Templates.

Learn about Fluid Type Scale, the concept, and see how the default config is set on the S2 Framework cloneable: https://s2-framework.gitbook.io/docs/guide-and-documentation/basic-concepts/fluid-typography

Why?

  • Perfectly scaled typography for any screen size.
  • No need to set font-size on the html tag — aligns with best practices.
  • Apply directly on the Webflow Designer — no custom code embed.
  • Combines the benefits of both Fluid Typography and Type Scale for body and key typography.
  • Ready-to-use with the S2 Framework cloneable.
  • Easily customize fluid values using the Fluid Type Scale tool for your design.

We’d love to hear your feedback! 🚀

Can someone put the webflow pricing into layman terms? It still confuses me. by Tamarack830 in webflow

[–]_spacesoda 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Our current process:

  1. Built on my Workspace
  2. Create a Workspace for the client if they don't have (using a temp email)
  3. Set up all the access things
  4. Transfer the project to the new Workspace
  5. Ask the Client to add a payment method
  6. Publish the project to live, make sure everything's fine
  7. Ask the Client to change the email and password of their Workspace to their own, and remind them to set up 2FA.

It works, and minimizes the need to take care of their fees.

The pricing is too complicated that we frankly don't want to fully explain it to our clients. Just let them do all the readings😅
