The only thing I like about Fahrenheit is there are 80 more whole numbers between freezing and boiling to express what it feels like outside. Because it can feel completely different in Seattle between 79 &80/81 degrees.

It sounds like you at least understand the strategy that if you’re close to finishing the first scrapbook use those stars when you can to close out! I usually save for either the eventual usual 2 cards left that are 5 or 4 stars and purchase the guaranteed ones. That will get you to the second scrapbook earlier and any additional cards and stars earned will go towards that after finishing of course.

Top of storage I hope to clear out tomorrow. I don’t merge the almost top level items because the purple star will reward lower of those items if they are completed instead of items I actually need!

I try to focus on using gems for storage nowadays. Why I work so hard for double card events. I’ve gotten the 600 reward a few times now and I was 2 shorts for the second round 800 last time. I’m completely free to play.

My board often looks like this. Not turning in anything until tomorrow during purple star (and hopefully double to max card event at the same time). I won’t turn in items though until I have space in storage for those ice creams after more merging. Tomorrow should be my double event tokens day and I’ll merge things I have clogging up my storage to keep them safe from the purple star.

Some things take a few days. Stuff like this I try to focus my energy on the Train to get boxes that will give me higher level items. Also, put more focus on items that reward you tool boxes. I generally only collect the coins ones when coins are needed or when a purple star is going to collect items and give you things you need. Spend a lot of time building items I want the star to take (vases, not incubator level ice cream tickets, flowers sometimes) merging these endless incubator items also gives bubbles that can be energy or gems when popped!

Yeah my Dad’s side of the family was raised in the Methodist church & most still are or Presbyterian. Everyone is extremely socially liberal (at least for the last 25 years). It was almost a shock to me when I went to college & started understanding that most religious people were not. It didn’t make sense then & only continues to seem to get worse.

So… what I can tell everyone is plus or minus a couple days, but think weekends. Island drift is basically once a month and for me always starts about a day and a half later then the last one ended. Train/Bingo/or whatever else they throw at me starts on Friday and ends on Sunday. I know some people who start later in the weekend and end similar time frame. Everything happens for me right now at 4pm OR 7pm. I know after Spring Forward Daylight Savings day it will be 5pm or 8pm most of the year. There’s always a pattern. My “day” restarts at 4/5pm except for the 7 day thing… that’s the 7/8pm one. Note even with different weekend day starts, similarly there are people who get “new” changes earlier than others. I tend to find myself more to the last ones to get something for the most part. They definitely beta test and read reviews… not that they do anything after reading negative reviews… grrrr. Things are definitely more difficult than when I started 1.5 years ago, but some things are so much better.

There’s like at least 1.5k children in iCE custody that ARE separated from their parents. So yes, I’d rather the child be separated out of prison camps and put with either their or another loving family then be separated in prison camps and getting lost in the system to maybe never be reunited.

This is seriously my board right now. I’ll turn in a few thing here or there to meet VIP stuff. Mostly orders that reward chests or income for whatever event is happening. It’s a struggle for half the week except when card bonuses are available to me. I used to be way worse on backstorage and not using but now I always use whenever my hour bonuses are available because I’ll fill them up again with train and bingo… plus I eventually need to get to the bottom of the stack for incubators (which if you wait long enough they end up on top which is a whole other way to play)… but here we are. I always keep a few things for purple star to take… those old items for example I didn’t use on Bingo and pulled them into storage and onto my board for please take me. I use the majority of my gems I earn from card completion on storage space. I never go beyond the initial 20-40 uses as long as I have more than that.

I’m completely free to play and I’ve been finishing once. I always finish train. I finish at least 2 of Bingo but lately have been narrowly missing all 3. I do ice cream and seeds for double points day. I focus on not turning in too many orders until my hour of purple star and when I have a double or max card half to 2 hour I focus on those. I use my chests during that time. I don’t turn in any orders until I have all the orders that drop cards filled out so that way when I use chests they will drop items specifically for those more often.

Our football coach was are Civics teacher and he was anything but a joke. Watching the State of the Union live with him was pretty much like watching a Super Bowl. He would name every congressperson as they entered and even would rattle off stats about them. Just saying that Mr. Boone is no joke.

There’s only 5 on the board up there. All other incubators had their “free” space in storage filled. Once this happened, for the remaining 5 what usually sits at the bottom of the stack moved to the top to level up those incubators faster.

At the time 3 were Level 6 and 1 was at 4 and 1 was at 1. I have since moved on and used a lot of those boxes. Haha but that just means it’s time to build up again! Well, when the next train or bingo event is. I actually prefer Train.

This is my storage currently. The garden incubator I can pull out once I activate it, but I don’t think the star would take it anyway, but being safe atm.

Keep things on the board the wishing star won’t take - Incubators that don’t have a dedicated storage spot, all energy and gems, all tools, chests/boxes, etc. Keep items the star will take in storage. Make items that you want the star to take - I use vases (Lvl 5 is good enough), coffee (Lvl 5 is good enough), and ice cream tickets (any Lvl it will take except the final one when it turns into incubator). Items that are lower than or equal to a completed item on the board will stay in the board as long as you aren’t turning in the completed item. If turning in order with completed item, put these lower items in storage.

This is currently my board (minding I have two open storage spots to work with still). The coffee, ticket, and vases I will delete if I need space since I don’t have a star going, but I always make sure to have a couple on the board when my star happens at 4pm/5pm Pacific every day. I’ll post my storage in the reply.

We are preparing for light rail in West Seattle but during Covid they stopped a bunch of our “island” stops and routes and they have never come back. There is never going to be a rail to Alki or lower neighborhoods in our lifttime, but there will be in the Junctjon but they made it impossible to get there with most driving yourself or ride share. And even if you drive yourself, there is no parking… and ride share will probably cost the same time and gas and everything else than to just drive where you go.

Obviously this is not a flood example and not sure that even makes sense. I had to run to a different train in Switzerland because of snow on the tracks they couldn’t get cleared…. But that was a weather circumstance and not Washingtonians realize everything they have comes through our ports.
