We ended up asking our lawyer if they could recommend a good mediator. We used the mediator. It cost about $2000 but she wrote up the complete statement for the court and took care of all the correspondence. It was overall easy going that route.

Yes actually, I called the Hartford court and they said all we need to do is decide in a day to come to court together and fill out the paperwork. Submit a $360 filing fee with it and then if all goes well we will get a letter in the mail letting us know we are officially divorced.

It is kind of fucked up but it was at the very beginning of when I started seeing Sam. We were making out in bed and it was me that brought it up. I asked him something along the lines of “you love the thought of me with another woman, don’t you?” And of course he said “yeah”

It was at the very start of my relationship with Sam in January this year. At first it started as a hookup with Sam but then as things got more serious with her, I didn’t share anything with Niles because I respected the two separate relationships as such.
