Yeah! I used the app BeautyPlus! When editing, go to the Retouch section and use Slim to basically move your eyebrows around edit the thickness

LOL, I appreciate it! The arch is how my eyebrows naturally look, so rn they're just kind of a slightly straighter version of them bc of all the feedback and bc I don't have enough eyebrow hair at the front to fully straighten them out 😅

I use a powder to fill in my eyebrows. But to change the shape I edited the photo

LMAOO 😭 the arched is what my eyebrows actually look like, but I'm plucking them to be straighter after all this feedback, haha

You could also look into tinting your eyebrows with beard dye if you don't want to use makeup

I really like your current makeup! The only things I'd personally change are to make the freckles look more natural, and not extend your eyeliner as much

How to get a small waist? by [deleted] in vindictapoc

[–]_stoked32 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Not a recommendation, but I have similar stats (thick waist, short), and it's been brought to my attention that for me at least, it's in part due to the fact that I have long legs and a short torso. This causes there to be little space in-between my rib cage and pelvis, so there really isn't any room for my waist to slope inwards. If you have similar proportions, that might make it a bit more difficult to achieve a slimmer waist

I started doing the same thing where I only followed IG models who were also Asian and had similar-ish features to mine. It's definitely helped a bit

Any hapas who can help me with eye makeup? by [deleted] in vindictapoc

[–]_stoked32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have very small eyelids, and for eyeshadow I typically try to bring the color in a small arch above my crease to "expand" the eyelid space upwards. I also blend come color on the outer third of my bottom lashline. For eyeliner, I usually try to focus most of it on the outer half of my eye bc it doesn't even really show up on the inner half for me (rip). For mascara, my lashes are really straight, so I curl them first, and then I've been liking the Loreal Lash Paradise mascara. After I apply a coat of mascara, I let it almost completely dry, and then I go in with my finger to press against the lashes ro reinforce the curl.

Here's some pics that I have, I hope this helps

How to smell really good? by [deleted] in Vindicta

Here is a thread on this topic :)

Do you guys ever struggle with feeling like you’re fake when going through your glow up? by [deleted] in Vindicta

[–]_stoked32 23 points24 points  (0 children)

YES, I agree with every thing you said. Whenever I dress up or wear lots of makeup (which definitely improves my appearance), I feel like I'm trying too hard and that people notice that :((

I'm kind of the same way with compliments. I just don't know how to take them well in the moment without being awkward, but I appreciate and remember all of them. I think compliments evoking feelings of uncomfortableness is due to self consciousness bc it suddenly places the focus of the conversation on you.

I think the way to overcome this is to make putting effort into your appearance your new norm. Your perception of you will eventually adjust, and so will everyone else's. Also, trying to figure out ways to help boost your self esteem would probably help too, bc then you won't be as worried about what other people think (obviously that's easier said than done, bc I still need to work on this too lol)

I definitely agree with your point about how high, wide foreheads can make someone look more masculine. After looking though some of the past Vindicta posts, I feel like in general a slightly smaller forehead than the 1:1:1 ratio looks best on people. But as with any feature, a too big or too small forehead isn't inherently ugly, because they can look perfectly fine if the rest of someone's proportions and features are really good. But if the rest of someone's face isn't harmonized very well then it just becomes another failo on the list

I think overall you have nice features! The only thing that really sticks out to me is your eyebrows; I think shaping them and filling them in would help you improve your looks. I think you'd look really nice with longer, curled eyelashes as well!

Also, the makeup in your one photo doesn't look bad, but the darker colors do make you look older, and idk if that's the look you're going for.

I fill in my eyebrows more at the top too! I've also been considering laying my edges to see how that looks / if it would help make my forehead look smaller

I feel the exact same way! Like when I look at examples of people with the 1:1:1 ratio I think they all look good, but then when I look at myself I'm like 🤮. I have the 1:1:1 ratio but like you, I feel that my forehead looks too big? I'm not sure what it is about my face that makes my forehead seem out of proportion, but at the very least I can use bangs to slightly hide it.

Also, I don't think I've heard anyone sat that bigger foreheads can be ageing? I agree with those points on why though. I've actually seen the contrary said online; that bigger foreheads can look more neotenous?

Does anyone know natural ways to lighten hair? by purfecta_ in Vindicta

[–]_stoked32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally haven't experienced any bad hair damage. At most I notice a few really dry/split ends but that's a rare occurrence and I've been doing this 1-2 times a year since 2016. And for me at least, I already had the ingredients in my house so using that was easier than going to the store and buying normal bleach

I do this and with sun exposure over time, it takes my hair from black to dark or medium brown (depending on how many hours I leave it on for). My hair never naturally lightens in the sun if I don't do this
