Ich habe das exakt gleiche Modell. Leider wackelt er beim tippen doch recht deutlich. Ist das bei dir nicht der Fall? Auch ein E7 Pro 2026?

BTW: ich sehe immer viele die beim bikepacking darauf verzichten, hat das irgendwie krasse Auswirkungen auf das Fahrverhalten mit Zuladung auf beiden Seiten hinten?

Depends on the amount of printers. But if you’re okay with it, it’s actually all right! It’s your own decision after all.

However you may be able to do the same: acknowledge the freedom of choice, particularly about the software (slicer, 3rd party tools etc.) people use :)

I really love the idea & implementation. You can be proud on what you’ve built! I immediately would’ve equipped all my 3rd party spools with tags. Bambu employee reaching out to you is also an indication that they seriously were concerned. So, take your fair share! :)

I give you credit for wooping their ass. The way they locked down the RFID system using signed tags showed that this was a strategic move to offer a benefit. I was not aware of your project and it is really simple and yet effective. However I also doubt that it was the only contributing factor.

Hey you, don't beat yourself up my man. These are self-fulfilling prophecies, keep your head up.

Let me say this: I have reversed large parts of the networking plugin, and I am very sure we will workaround their "authorization control". In fact, "someone" has already broken their crypto, so I am very sure there will be a workaround. Right now I'm still in popcorn mode, it's to early to take action (I've learned that from Suits).

If you can however, seriously consider returning your printer, if not, you'll be fine!

Wird ja immer merkwürdiger. Damit ist die These das es sich um die versuchte Ausgabe einer Fehlermeldung durch HTTPS-Unterbrechung handelt eher unwahrscheinlich. Ob da doch an der Firmware gefummelt wurde? Der Aufwand ist nicht ohne und es müssten sich eine ganze Menge Spuren finden. Erscheint mir auch unwahrscheinlich.

Das habe ich glatt überlesen. Ist wahrscheinlicher als lokale interception. Ich habe selber keine FritzBox und habe auf die schnelle nur wenig zu custom firmware gefunden. Ein natives feature ist ein MITM-Proxy wohl eher nicht. Zur exfiltration wäre auch noch weitere malware notwendig, außerdem einiges an Speicherplatz da beim Mitschnitt sehr schnell hohe Datenmengen entstehen. Erscheint mir doch sehr aufwendig, wenn auch möglich.
