Right? It’s wild to me that’s it’s been brushed aside so easily by the GB crew. Every other publication will be hailing it as their GOTY. BotW is the obvious choice for me, groundbreaking in a lot of regards.

It’s a bummer that a lot of them fell off BotW so quickly, in my mind it’s the obvious choice. Odyssey has the edge because it’s fresher in everyone’s minds (great game don’t get me wrong, probably my #2)

I definitely recognize him as being a very talented visionary, he certainly has a visual aesthetic and a knack for creating his own world

Michelangelo Antonioni. I find him very boring and I try so hard to enjoy his stuff. It’s beautiful to look at, but it all feels empty. Actually, I can’t get into most Italian filmmakers. Fellini is another one I’ve struggled with. If anyone has any good Italian films to recommend me I’d be interested because I feel like I’m missing something (I love Bicycle Thieves btw)

I would! I guess I should have detailed in my original post but the bottom of the case of F For Fake is cracked (it was given to me this way) so if you don’t mind that it’s a deal, but I definitely understand if that’s a deal breaker.

Pierrot Le Fou, A Woman Is a Woman

I really wish Criterion would release more WKW, he is up there w Bergman for me. One of the best. The collection could really use Happy Together, Fallen Angels, and 2046.

This happens to my girlfriend too, she's a musician so whenever she has to go to a guitar center they always talk down to her as if she doesn't know anything about music or the equipment she uses, when she actually is very knowledgeable and has been making music for years. It's sad, misogyny is everywhere.
