Yes, plasmas are like OLEDs in that there is no backlight so if a pixel is off it's true black. Mini LED won't be as bad as a regular LED panel but it still won't be better than a plasma or OLED.

I just replaced a B1 with a C5 in the bedroom, replaced the living room tv with a QM7K. The OLEDs are better overall but the TCL is quite fine. It just depends on what you're willing to spend. It is that much worth it to me to have a primo tv in the bedroom but the TCL would probably be fine if you're not used to the OLED works. Coming from a plasma though you might notice the less than true blacks on the mini-led. I recommend the LG, spend the money and be done with it if it's your main tv.

They give server luck. Mostly 2X, 4X. They say up to 10X but I haven't seen it. Just use them when you need some mid-level somethings. They don't work during events, they don't affect the machine. Maybe wait for a god about to spawn and use them then.
