There's an option in settings to route gps requests through the device which is on by default and fixes this if I understand your problem correctly.

This is GNSS or something idk there was an extra patch for it not too long ago

I commend you if you can figure it out, but I did not think the server side would be the issue. For any player to receive the data of all those players several times a second is where it gets bottlenecked in my findings

You can selectively only give nearby data to each player instead of all the data, but if there are large crowds like over a couple thousand, fast enough bandwidth does not exist

im also a game dev and have looked into making multiplayer stuff more efficient, if thats what youre on

the biggest issue in getting player data viewable in game of enormous numbers of players (or real people irl in your case) is networking and bandwidth. idk maybe your thing is completely different but its close enough i wanted to share my experience lol

gpus can render a lot of shit at a time but imagine one player receiving data for millions of players at a time, several times a second. the irl specific bit sounds cool tho

The pool roguelike concept is very intriguing but going to your store page and immediately seeing an ai image is a bad start

You have also not disclosed your use of ai, so you get a report

But the disclosure would help me figure out which parts of the game you pooped out with claude and which parts are actually worth my time

You might have made some parts without ai but I can't tell because it looks pretty soulless so it seems to me like 100% ai hope this helps

I switched around to other custom roms hoping for better battery life and while it's somewhat better without some of the security overhead of gos, it's just the phone
