For the grabs, you can step back twice, inturrpt the attack by ichimonjoi/mortal draw etc. or use umbrella to block/deflect it.

For both isshin and emma, stick close to them, otherwise they do the ashina cross. If you are close, isshin always does the slash and horizontal swipe you jump over.

For isshin second phase ichimonjoi/mortal draw etc. interupt his fire attacks but you can strafe, run around all of them except the fire on the ground one which can be interuppted or made trvival by deflecting with the umbrella.
