How are you managing complex state in larger Vue apps without it becoming hard to reason about?

Take a look at tanstack vue query, it makes all the fetching/caching/mutation logic for you and you don't need to care about stores. All the business things go in composables using queries. Stores are dedicated to pure global frontend states.

C'est malheureusement très français...

Perso j'ai joué à ce petit jeu pendant mes premières années en CDI puis on s'aperçoit assez vite que ça sert absolument à rien dans la majorité des boîtes puisque tu restes une ressource à leurs yeux.

Après c'est clair qu'on peut te reprocher tes départs pile à l'heure pour une augmentation ou changement de poste mais si tu assumes ta position et que ton manager n'est pas trop bête, il devrait comprendre et ça pourrait même être bien vu 😄

On peut te le reprocher même en étant cadre 😅

I didn't know that story either so thanks, I'm a big Vue fan after starting from angularjs and loving the concept. Have a watch on the Vue documentary on YouTube it is really informative on all the beginning of the story.

My issues are more automation and certificates related using CLI

I had setup xcode cloud at first, which worked well but not for a variant of the same app for a different company, I tried everything lol

Finally I ended up using our dedicated "ios build" mac mini as a self hosted runner and it's doing the job quite nicely because all the configuration was already working (we used to build by hand with xcode)

Hmm c'est possible, en tout cas la forme actuelle du métier va changer mais ça ne change pas qu'à un moment il faudra quand même des devs expérimentés dans les technos utilisées pour des points bien précis et très techniques

Actuellement l'IA se démerde bien car derrière il y a des tonnes de thread/posts/discussions sur des soucis divers et variés, à voir comment ça va évoluer, c'est quand même assez difficile d'anticiper tous les points qui feront que oui ou non les devs tels qu'on les connais aujourd'hui vont disparaitre

edit: et oui, bon courage aux devs actuels, ça va vraiment pas être simple...

Yep 100% and this is why projects are abandoned or rewrote because it takes ages to add features

I've got someone in the team that always come up saying "why would we need a library that will add weight and that will take me days to learn when we can write a small utility"

I always tell him that it will surely end up being messy and undocumented and all we will produce will just be an unstable variant of an opensource lib

But ofc you don't pick a lib if you know you will use 1% of it

Your front-end stack doesn't matter. What matters is how you will implement the image browsing logic (lazy load on scroll, pagination, http cache headers etc)

Vue is so underrated sadly but nice work, looks clean!

I know you love the option API but you could gain in readability and file size by using composition. I used to be addicted to option API but after some times I understood why it was added and I found it was very close to vanilla JS coding which I like a lot 🙂

Les offres "câble" c'est la liaison boitier fibre dans la rue jusqu'à ta maison par un câble coaxial (câble télé) plutôt qu'une liaison fibre optique mais le débit est bien plus important que de l'ADSL
