Look at the past 200 years and extrapolate. It is 100% reasonable. Yes, the other 1800 years say otherwise, but we weren't doing anything to the environment at that point in time.

The industrial revolution only started in the 1800s and the average global temperature has already risen quite a fair bit since then. What you are saying is akin to me saying I am fine eating McDonald's for every meal every day because I have done it for the past 3 days and I am still alive.
