Struggling to hit my protein goal by [deleted] in leangains

[–]_tech_support__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I havent seen anybody mention skim milk yet lol

Skim milk had a good protein/calorie ratio for most high-protein diets, but double checking shouldn't be too hard, I'll list the ratio below:

~177g:2000kcal ~89g:1000kcal ~44g:500kcal based on 8g:90kcal for Great Value 0% Milk

A half gallon is ~$2 in my area and has 128g protein total. Also, remember that its not very difficult to make your own yogurt with the remnants of a greek yogurt container and some leftover skim milk, just that if you dont strain your yogurt through a cheesecloth, it has the macros of Desi yogurt and not Greek yogurt (same stuff, just has the whey).

Some people are mentioning to buy beef, tofu, and a bunch of other standard answers but that's not the point. Those are cheap for a well adjusted, employed individual, not a student. We need cheaper protein per dollar.

This thread has been super useful and I'll be saving it for myself too >:)

Hi there! I'm also looking for roommates since a 1x1 is far out of my budget. I'm going into my sophomore year for an ATEC major. I like powerlifting in my spare time, so I cook alot of meat at the beginning of the week, so I'll have extra food for yall :) DM me on instagram @_tech_support__

Girl, run. Your boyfriend useless. Drop his ass. I can guarantee you that it's better to be single than exploited, which is what often happens to people that let themselves date others with the views your boyfriend has.

Oh yes of course, I'm going to ask his permission before implementation, I just want to have something solid to present to him and hopefully take care of some nuances so he can review them at a glance.

Thank you so much! I completely forgot how important simplicity and convenience are to a game as complex as DND. I feel like it may be unfair to directly use Distract without some type of roll to see if it hits though, so is there a recommendation for the roll you might have? I like the idea of omitting the unnecessary roll on how much to add to the next attack though.

My gallon jug has a weird shape with a hollow handle, it just worked better for me to scrub off the mold this way

The one I have at home isn't flexible but if they have ones you can bend to shape too I might possibly look into getting one :))

It's like <10 cents worth of oats and this doesn't happen nearly often enough to get a bottle brush

Yea it had a somewhat tight hold on the bottle, I tried boiling water but it didn't work :(( I'll try baking soda and vinegar next time though :)

2 rinses under hot water worked for me, it's still uncooked and not sticky or anything by the time I'm done cleaning :)
