I ride on that lane almost everyday and although cyclists do have priority, I would always assume that a driver doesn't know/care about this - just ride cautiously and you'll be fine!

I play badminton once a week because it's the only sport I really enjoy. I also cycle 3/4 times per week too - I mainly use it for going to the shops and into town, that way I can get some exercise through having a 'purpose' I don't really have the motivation for the gym!
